When my last startup failed, I was in a heavy depression.

I lost over $200k; my previous CTO screwed me over, many people bullied me into pushing me further down.

It was the most challenging phase of my life.
Many people quit on me whom I blindly trusted, I got to about people who only existed in my life due to my prior success.

I went into a heavy depression for months.
Today, that failure of mine lead to the rise of @PitchGroundHQ

Today, the same people are trying to enter my life.

Nothing in life comes easy; all overnight success takes years.
But as an individual should never give up, trust the process and believe in yourself.
Failures are temporary; your determination to succeed should be permanent.
Update: I have published the next part of my story here that talks about how I did certain things to get myself back on track:

Debt is good if you know how to use it.

Three years back, when I started @PitchGroundHQ, I had to crunch some funds for our marketplace.

When I lost $200k cash in my previous startup, I had to fight back.

I ended up using my credit cards with the highest limit.
I was very confident about my performance marketing skill and very adamant that I will not lose the money.

That was one of the best decisions I took at the start of the @PitchGroundHQ.
Why? Because I had around 45 days to pay back with 0% interest. Now, this was gold for me.

I ended up using two cards and maxed out my spending on both cards.

"Udit won't do anything in his life" - These were the exact words I heard from one of my relatives.

Why?

Because I had secured 50% in my 12th board's exam, the most critical year for any student.

Reason? I got into gaming.
My dreams to become a software engineer got shattered...

...but I did not give up.

I told myself, I don't want to prove anyone wrong about my potential, but I want to prove myself right.
I got myself in Mumbai University and started studying for my grads in Account and Finance. Being Marwari, account and finance was natural for me.

I did extremely well, but the amount of time I got during my B&F helped me to study development without requiring any college.

One of the biggest problems I hear from people is that the lead quality generated from the ads is terrible.
If that's you, then this simple solution will improve the quality of your Lead > Paid Customer conversation.

1/n
Most marketers are obsessed with getting leads at a low price.
That's cool, but those low price leads are also low-quality leads, which means they will not buy.

A simple trick will sort this problem for you.

2/n
Make your form a little harder to fill. Add more fields than just asking for an email or email and name.
The moment you do that, you might see the lead's cost going up, but the conversion rate will improve drastically for you.
