#KleimanvWright day 11 recap: did Dave Kleiman Accidently delete #Bitcoin wallets with hundreds of thousands of #BTC on them?

1. On Day 11 we saw many new faces take the witness stand as well as via Video Deposition.

2. On how bitcoin works.

Afterward, Digital forensics expert Nicholas Chambers took the stand and said his research shows that some of Dave Kleimans harddrives had encrypted files on them named "Do Not Delete" but regardless, Ira Kleiman overwrote the drives and whatever was...

3. previously on those hard drives is long gone.

Next, CSWs ex-wife, Lynn Wright's video deposition played. She said that she never heard CSW and Dave talk about Bitcoin or mining together, implying that the 2 didn't have a partnership when it came to BTC-related matters..

4. in the cross-examination of Lynn Wright, they were able to express to the court that Lynn, the majority shareholder of W&K info defense, seemed to know nearly nothing about W&K and that she was not even aware that CSW had filed legal claims against W&K in recent years...

5. This seemed to add to the Plaintiffs argument that CSW operates often operates in secrecy.

Don Lynam, Dr. Wright's uncle, was the next video deposition. CSW shared many of his early ideas about BTC and an early draft of the whitepaper with Lynam...

6. Lynam even ran a BTC node in the very early days. Lynam was a strong witness who did a great job of humanizing Dr. Wright and telling his personal story which was very consistent with Bitcoin coming to fruition and launching.

7. Plaintiffs tried to highlight the idea that Lynam was prompted to speak nicely about CSW since that is his nephew, but he swiftly responded that he agreed to give a video deposition because he believes in CSW and his personal knowledge from that era and that he is providing...

Dr. McIntyre was called to the witness stand afterward, he is a practicing doctor and an infectious disease specialist, McIntyre has reviewed Daves's medical records and began making the case that...

9. Dave was in such poor medical condition in his last years of life, that he really couldn't be out of a hospital or away from professional medical care for more than a day at a time–implying that Dave could not have helped CSW with BTC in any significant capacity...

The Plaintiffs rest their case.

1. Day 10 began where day 9 left off, Dr. Edman was questioned by plaintiffs regarding whether documents were forged.

Edman testified that he believes they docs were forged due to modifications in the metadata...

2. The plaintiffs took it one step further and tried to imply that it was CSW who modified the data,

but when Defense lawyer Rivero cross-examined Edman, he made it clear that there is no way to know who modified the data, and that some of the arguments the plaintiffs made...

3. rely on information in the documents that Dr. Edman says are forged documents.

when the cross ended, the Plaintiffs did a redirect of Edman where they once again implied that CSW was the individual who altered the documents,

1. Rivero Finished cross-examining Ira Kleiman and afterward, the plaintiffs did a redirect for Kleiman and 2 video depositions were played by the plaintiffs after that.

Here's the Jist of it.

Rivero is emphasizing that Dave and Craig only had one email correspondence about Bitcoin between March 2008 and October 2008 and on top of that, Wright and Kleiman partnered down the road for a different business venture.

1. Ira Kleiman was the only witness today, he was cross-examined by Craig's (CSW) attorney Andres Rivero (AR)

the major takeaway from today was that outside of CSW asking Dave Kleiman (DK) for help editing a paper about 'Bit Coin, Bit Cash' ...

2. that DK and CSW never talked about bitcoin via email correspondence again.

interestingly, the two did have a lot of correspondence regarding business matters for the company they did legally launch together, W&K defense

W&K defense was registered in the state of Florida...

3.and filed tax returns with the IRS yearly.

that being said, Both Dave and CSW clearly knew how to set up a legitimate business partnership over business matters they worked on together.

Day 3 of #KleimanvWright

1. two video depositions–Jamie Wilson (JW) and @JimmyWinSV –before Ira Kleiman took the stand in-person

key take away from JW deposition: JW was a former director and CFO at a CSW created company.

He allegedly knew CSW had over 1 million BTC

2. JW says CSW changed, and got very wealthy, once Dave Kleiman died.

JW resigned from his position as Director and CFO at the CSW company when he felt like fraud was going on and no longer understood where funding was coming from

2.5 important to note: JW has a chip on his shoulder, said he never receive any payment from his time as director and CFO even though he was the suppose to be the second-highest paid employee of the CSW company on paper
