BOOSTERS CAN HELP AVOID LOCKDOWNS—that’s the clear conclusion from Israel. Israel🇮🇱 defeated #DeltaVariant wave without a lockdown by quickly giving 3rd shot for entire population—everyone age 12+!!! Europe hasn’t done that & now suffering dearly. #COVID19

2) Europe completely dropped the ball on boosters. It had time to enact it during early Delta wave before winter came. Now it’s almost too late for a burn through catastrophe
3) Israel 🇮🇱 acted fast and listened to its pro precautionary scientists. Other places did not and paying a heavy price.
4) UK study finds Pfizer booster is extremely effective against symptomatic infection, both compared to unvaccinated and to those with 2 doses. Regardless whether first 2 doses were AZ or Pfizer, a Pfizer booster sent vaccine efficacy up to 93-94%!! 👀

11) Also if you’re a cancer patient or immunocompromised— I recommend asking your doctor or pharmacist whether you can get the full dose 100 mcg Moderna shot. If you ask for Moderna booster - you only get 50 mcg. Moderna is much stronger than almost any other vaccine — see 🧵

15) FDA to approve boosters for all adults likely tomorrow. With 6 month minimum requirement or not? And will CDC endorse and change the “fully vaccinated” definition??? That’s my question.

BREAKING—The FDA expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer & Moderna #COVID19 vaccine boosters on Friday, signaling that the shots can be given to anyone aged 18+ at least six months after completion of the primary shots. CDC approval soon.

EUROPE. ALL. TIME. RECORD. HIGH.

Very little mitigation until recently. No major booster strategy or booster push until hospitals full. Completely opposite of Israel 🇮🇱 that has almost zero #COVID19 deaths now because they pushed boosters for all early.

BREAKING—207 GOP members of US Congress just voted to condone the **workplace death threat** to slash the neck of @AOC. That is the real tragic headline behind the 223-207 vote to censure Rep Gosar. Gosar would be fired if any other workplace.
This would not be acceptable in any other workplace. Police would even be involved.
