BREAKING: THREAD: The new US Attorney for the SDNY has indicted two Iranian hackers pretending to be Proud Boys to interfere in the 2020 election on behalf of trump. This has potential implications for a lot of what we've been waiting for. 1/ justice.gov/usao-sdny/pres…
This indictment is signed by Damian Williams, the new US Attorney who took over at SDNY October 10th. The indictment was filed October 20th, and unsealed today by the DoJ. Why are those dates important? 2/
We've been waiting to see if the DoJ is going to indict donald in the Stormy Daniels hush money scheme in the SDNY, or if they would indict donald for the Mueller Obstruction charges in the DC USAO since Garland took over in March of this year 3/
Folks have been asking for these indictments - myself included - for months, & we were asking WHEN Bannon would be indicted for criminal contempt. I posited that perhaps they were waiting for the new US Attorneys to take their positions and be read in. 4/
The fact that the new US Atty for SDNY issued this indictment ten days after arriving, and the new DC US Atty issued the Bannon indictment a week after getting there tells me perhaps DoJ was waiting for them. So what does that mean? 5/
To me, it means that we may now start seeing more indictments in SDNY and DC now that the US Attorneys have arrived, including potentially the Mueller obstruction charges and Rudy associates. This is - of course - total speculation based on these latest charges. END

THREAD: I am convinced there's an op against our justice department designed to divide us and exhaust voters in the interest of advancing authoritarianism. Sit back, pour a glass of wine, and allow me to explain. As always, I have receipts. 1/
There are strong forces at work, and millions in dark money being spent to steal your vote. The GOP and foreign bad actors do this in two ways: the first is by physically blocking or intimidating voters. There was a LOT of this in 2020. 2/ nytimes.com/2020/09/19/us/…
The second and more sinister way is to convince you to throw your vote away. They accomplish this in multiple ways. 1. Telling you that both major party candidates are equally bad. Here's an example from Russian State Media: 3/

BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE: THREAD: Pence, his aides, and staff were locked out of their offices in the capitol complex during the insurrection because their access badges had been DEACTIVATED the morning of the attack, according to sources familiar with the incident 1/
According to one source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to an ongoing investigation, Pence's team huddled in a loading dock, unable to access their offices, and started planning contingencies for a constitutional crisis and how to remove the president. 2/
The access badges worked that morning before the mob entered the capitol, but once Pence was removed from the chamber floor, their badges no longer worked. Access was restored later that night after the threat was over. 3/

THREAD: I think it's time to talk about how PISSED I am that @TheJusticeDept hasn't moved on the ELOQUENT and FANTABULOUS obstruction of justice charges outlined so succinctly in Volume 2 of the Mueller Report. 1/
We sacrificed a LOT to set up those obstruction of justice charges unfettered by future tainted juries and constitutional challenges. Mueller DIDN'T say donald obstructed justice b/c that could run afoul of the constitution. 2/
The constitution says a defendant has the right to face his accuser. Mueller knew that he couldn't indict donald because of the OLC memo, and since he couldn't indict him, he couldn't accuse him without risking an easy appeal. 3/

THREAD: There were major clues that dropped this weekend indicating DoJ is prepping to pursue a Bannon indictment for criminal contempt of congress that the MSM isn't talking about. 1/
Let's start back on 10/23 when multiple sources were reporting that DoJ might be hesitant to indict Bannon until a legislative purpose could be established for seeking Bannon's testimony in the first place. 2/
You'll recall that one of the main reasons trump listed for blocking the release of National Archives documents is that the January 6th committee doesn't have a legislative purpose. Now, WE know they do, but a court hasn't determined that yet 3/

THREAD: a few people have expressed trepidation about my calls to appoint a special counsel to investigate trump’s plot to overthrow the government because “nothing happened” with Mueller’s probe. I’d like to point a few things out, if I may. 1/
First, Mueller didn’t do “nothing”. He had over 300 criminal charges against over 30 criminals with 9 convictions. Trump pardoned the big dogs. Biden will not. The reason you feel like Mueller did nothing is because Barr wanted you to think Mueller did nothing. 2/
As judge Walton concluded, Barr inappropriately redacted volume 1 to downplay the MASSIVE scope of Russian assistance to the trump campaign. Because of Barr’s “lack of candor”, most of those redactions have been removed, but MSM didn’t report it so you probably didn’t know 3/

BREAKING: Cy Vance has opened an investigation into Leon Black: the guy who gave $50M to Epstein for “investments”. He owns Apollo Mgmt which lent Kushner $184M. He also went to Russia with Donald and CALAMARI. I think Calamari is cooperating.
