(1/2) We're going to answer this question ONCE AND FOR ALL. We heard it asked yet again, to Jon Karl by Joy Reid. The question is: Does Trump really believe he won the election because it was stolen? Here is the actual answer, sorry if you don't find it satisfying, but it's true:
(2/2) The answer is - it doesn't matter! It's the same. To understand this, you have to know Trump's psychopathology and aberrant relationship to the truth. In all ways, belief or not belief - it's the same. There is no concept of "belief." Only the narrative he puts forth.
There is only HIM. There is only his urgency and his need. Actual belief NEVER seeps into conscious thought. It's not only the choice of belief that doesn't enter thought, the very concept of belief doesn't either. Thus, it doesn't matter.
If you're asking whether he believed he won the election the day it happened, if he believed the election was stolen on the day it happened, the answer, way deep down, was "no". He knew he lost. But that realization was momentary and transitory. He needed it to go away forever.

“Alito epitomizes new imperious attitude of the Court’s right-wing majority, which wants to act politically without being seen as political, and expects the public to silently acquiesce to its every directive without scrutiny, criticism, or protest.” theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…
“It is not simply enough for the right-wing justices to have this power; Alito insists that the peasantry be silent about how they use it, and acquiesce not only to their delusions of impartiality but to their mischaracterization of verifiable facts.”
“If Alito wants the public to see the Court as apolitical, he should try meeting that standard, instead of lecturing others for not blinding themselves to the obvious.”

After the Towers fell, Trump's first reaction was to brag that now HE owned the tallest building in lower Manhattan.
Once a malignant narcissist, always a malignant narcissist.

And readers say even that was a lie. Perfect. He was lying about size then too.
And we learn he made a fraudulent insurance claim for damages- a Trump triple play:
No empathy
False bragging
Grifting

It's VERY IMPORTANT for us to ACCURATELY remember Ukraine. Trump did not want Ukraine to open an investigation into Biden, he wanted them to "announce" they were opening one. This distinction is crucial! We now see he wanted Acting AG Rosen to "announce" the election was corrupt.
Trump believes he can force-sell a narrative. He believes if he has one corroboration independent of him, he will succeed at doing so through sheer loudness, repetition, and will. That's what he wanted from Zelenskiy on Biden. And it's what he wanted from his AG on the election.
It's a pattern. It's the essential component to his propaganda. Propaganda is pretty much the only thing that props Trump up. It's how he puts forth an aura of success despite his serial failures, an aura of authenticity despite falseness and ignorance. Time to expose him!

1) Texas Democrats must CONTINUE to deny the legislature a quorum to pass their voter suppression bill. Last week they delayed the passing of the bill by walking out in protest, denying them a quorum. They called it the “Alamo.” #BoycottSupressionSession #Alamo
2) Bravo, Texas Democrats! If this is the “Alamo”--a last stand for democracy—then keep standing. Keep denying Republicans quorum. Don’t attend the special session, called specially for voter suppression. #BoycottSupressionSession #Alamo
3) Sending this Tweet string to the Texas Democratic Statehouse leaders. Be good if they heard from you too
