It is NOT a climb down as evident from experience of LAB & NJAC but a tactical retreat. Country saw 370 go and CAA after that tactical retreat. Just as earlier, now we may see some renewed vigour and action on reform and consolidation front!
Admirably PM @narendramodi had chosen to own up and announce the repeal himself in his address to the nation. What else are democracies about.Other side was hellbent on burning nation for their democratic goals; PM has shown remarkable democratic temperament to spoil their plans

Experience of late 70s and 80s has shown how such politics around national security issues sent Punjab burning. I see this as an attempt to ensure that Punjab doesn’t go 80s way again. Onus to defeat Khalistanis is on Sikhs now!

Threat to national security was real- ask anyone who has traveled in Punjab or know that place. @RahulGandhi & his party had left no stone unturned in ensuring repeat of 80s. PM staked his political capital to save from Punjab to falling to Khalistanis- surely he needs support!
Lastly, no journey, let alone nations’ resemble a smooth path/road. History has shown that every nation, in its course to glory, has to pass through a journey full of twists and turns. This repeal is that twist n turn only- just like previous repeal of land acquisition bill was!
Some good alone will come out of it- PM @narendramodi needs our absolute support and he has that of mine and my family!
