Voting could end this slide toward authoritarian fascism, and unjust verdicts.
Sad truth is that despite the infrastructure bills, healthcare, COVID19 vaccines and generally good legislation to help the American people, the House is projected to go red. Why? (1)

In Virginia, with a good economy, rapid response to COVID19, and multiple new businesses under Democratic leadership, it still turned red. Why? (2)

Then there’s noted Democratic strategist complaining about “woke” culture. Why?
INSURRECTION by white Supremacist domestic terrorists 1/6 led by the GOP. And STILL, the House is projected to flip red. Why? (3)

Maybe it’s the cynic in me.
The MAJORITY of white Americans vote GOP. The majority. Red, blue. It doesn’t matter. Why?
Because voting GOP is visceral for white people. And the GOP KNOWS this. (4)

That’s why the GOP doesn’t care about policy or platforms. Only power. Therefore their election pitch is to make white people feel that they are superior, and deny policies that help Black.Brown people while promoting fear of Black/Brown people. (5)

What’s the solution?
Sure, go out and market all the things Dems accomplished. Good luck with that.
The ONLY way to save this country is for the federal government to guarantee voting rights. There are presumably more registered Democrats than Republicans in the country. (6)

But the current Democratic leadership isn’t taking voting rights seriously. So democracy is in the hands of those “swing” voters, “soccer moms” and “suburban housewives”.
Don’t hold your breath.
We are in a shitload of trouble. (7)

Unless we prioritize the preservation of voting rights for 2022, expect the end of American democracy. End
