When white supremacists face / lose civil trials, it’s a highly useful propaganda opportunity. Why?
Here’s the logic:
“They couldn’t get us for crimes; we’re not doing anything wrong — it’s PROOF of a conspiracy against us. They’ll stop at nothing to silence the truth.”

True, however - many white supremacist defendants are already broke before the trial (hence, pro se) and the organizations don’t tend to be lucrative.
