My "pay it forward" story. I TNR'd, feed and care for a colony of feral (now tamed and looking for homes) cats at nearby railroad tracks. I tend to their shelters and surroundings and spend time with them, and dress "accordingly" when putting in the work. 1/5
One day a couple of years ago I had to stop at Walmart for cat food, and had just come from the RR tracks -- and I looked like it.
There were 2 young black women ahead of me in line, who were buying a few baby items and from their convo, appeared to be organized & budgeting 2/5
There was a toddler. I'm sure any spare money should've gone towards the kid. But when I went to pay, the cashier told me the girls ahead of me had paid for my cat food purchases. They were long gone and I could not thank them or tell them that it wasn't necessary.3/5
But because I looked (that day from doing some labor in the weeds and woods) like someone who needed some help, they stepped up without a second thought. I learned some valuable lessons that day at a local Walmart.4/5
1.) Paying it forward matters, no matter how young you are or what your situation.
2.) I really need to pay closer attention to how I look when I am out in public. I seriously looked like shit that day.
But anyhow, God bless those two young women who took pity on me! 5/5

Kinda hard for the Kyle Rittenhouse enablers threatening defamation lawsuits for anyone referring to him as a white nationalist when there's this photo of him in bar -- a watering hole of the Proud Boys -- giving the white power sign. Also, his association with Tucker Carlson.
I was a political pundit for about 18 years, logging in a few thousand appearances on FOX, MSNBC, CNN and other venues. I was at FOX studios a couple times a week during 2015, and was alarmed at the changes in the summer and fall of 2015 before Trump ordered them to ban me. 1/7
Everyone knew what a buffoon Trump was and openly said so. But one by one, like Stepford Wives, key people would suddenly "shift" to support Trump but could no longer look me in the eye. I knew something else was going on. This was not organic -- not legit.2/7
It was chilling. I'd been making my living in politics, campaigns and media for decades and had never seen this before -- ESPECIALLY not in a primary with so many legit candidates. A few months later, CNN was doing the same. Banned me on Trump's orders. Still in the primary.3/7
Pretending COVIDIOTs & MAGA are "equal" in numbers or represent "the other side" which must be heard and represented in the press is lunacy. COVID science is NOT a matter of opinon. 1/4
MAGAats lying about Trump crimes, lies and leadership role in the Jan 6th terror attack on our Capitol, or even denying it happened -- are NOT "the other side". They are liars, traitors and worse. Address them as such and treat them as such. 2/4
Push back on those who try to silence you by urging "civility". If they were directly at your door trying to harm and kill your loved ones, you would not be "civil". If they were on your street with guns and tanks, and you were able to fight back, you would not be "civil". 3//4
It's been traumatizing to be blacklisted by FOX & CNN for confirming a published report that Trump had a superPAC, then be catfished, hacked, spied on by Trump hired thugs, canceled by "bros" in media in bed w/Michael Caputo & JD Gordon, and to see Garland let them all skate 1/4
And to wonder if my immune system was compromised by all of this, resulting in my stage 3 cancer. And to hear story after story and witness media still protecting criminals, the white male power structure stronger than ever as women get ruined, yet we're told to still "fight"2/4
.... while getting nothing in return -- no justice, no reparations, no equal or fair treatment by the media, no getting our lives, livelihoods and reputations back. No nothing. 3/4
TBT: This is why Trump forced Roger Ailes and @CNN's Jeff Zucker to blacklist me. I could confirm he had the superPAC and was lying when he said he didn't. It was only the primary and they were protecting him. washingtonpost.com/politics/the-i… 1/5
