🍕GW12 TAKEAWAYS
🌭 Chilwell/James fantastic once again. An assist for each but both could been a lot more. Rudiger with the goal this week.
🍟 NEW better going forward, most shots of GW12. 13 shots between Wilson/ASM alone.
🍔 Big NOR win with Pukki back in the goals.
🍕 GW12 TAKEAWAYS
🌮 Benteke a threat throughout, 5 SiB, 2 goals. £6.3m
🥪 Dennis great for WAT getting himself 2 assists, my MOTM vs MUN
🌯 LIV excellent. Mane, Mo, Jota were clinical whilst TAA back to his best
🥙 MCI cruising right now. That Cancelo assist was special
📄WELCOME TO GW13
🍀 (Unlucky for Some)
⏰ DEADLINE:
11.00am SAT 27th NOV (UK)
🏆 EUROPE:
Reminder that MCI, LIV, MUN, CHE, TOT, WHU & LEI all play in Europe midweek. As always holding out on making your FT is recommended.
⬇️ LEAGUE TABLE/TOP SCORERS:
🔴ARS vs NEW⚫
Whilst NEW sit the bottom of the league I expect them to give ARS a game with Wilson & ASM particularly causing them problems. That said, ARS should have enough in attack to secure the 3 points but I see both teams scoring. If you own ASM or Wilson, play them!
🟣CRY vs AVL🟣
I admit I didn't think Viera would work at CRY, I was wrong! He's getting the best out of his players & none more so than Benteke who's now scored 4 in last 5. Gallagher also continues to shine!
AVL with a win vs BHA in GW12 but no interest in them just yet!
🔴LIV vs SOU🔴
LIV have the most goals in the PL (35) & comfortably have the most shots (233) & big chances (46). Salah, Mane, Jota looked great vs ARS in GW12 whilst TAA is back to his very best. I just don't see SOU getting anything here. LIV are given a 49% to get +2.5 goals.
🟡NOR vs WOL🟠
Back to back wins takes NOR off the foot of the table & Pukki back in the goals. But it's Jimenez that catches my attention the most ahead of this one; 6 returns in the last 7 GWs with NOR & BUR in the next two. An option for anyone jumping who's off Antonio.
🔵BHA vs LEE⚪
Worth noting that Sanchez is back from suspension this week, which will boost the BHA defence.
Raphinha's fitness is unknown, if he doesn't play I see a CS for the home team given LEE injury woes & lack of creativity.
I think Lamptey is worth consideration!
🔴BRE vs EVE🔵
EVE have conceded the most big chances (18th) between GW8-GW12, in the same period they've conceded 71 Shots (15th), 47 inside the box (16th) resulting in 11 goals conceded (19th). No DCL, Richarlison, Doucoure & Gray is a doubt. I fancy a BRE win & clean sheet.
🟣BUR vs TOT⚪
BUR have conceded most shots (86) & shots in the box (63) since GW8, which will encourage Kane & Son owners. TOT improved in the 2nd half vs LEE & Conte will expect them to push on at Turf Moor.
Also worth noting BUR's OOP mid Cornet has 4 goals in last 4 games!
🔵LEI vs WAT🟡
WAT still without a CS in the PL this season but will be confident after their win vs MUN in GW12. LEI have just 1 CS whilst talisman Vardy has failed to score in the last 4 games.
I really fancy the WAT front 3 to cause this LEI defence problems this weekend.
🔵MCI vs WHU🟣
MCI cruising at the moment, last two GWs Cancelo has shone grabbing himself 3 assists & 26 #FPL points & playing very advanced role. Foden & B.Silva also worth consideration.
Antonio's 1 goal in last 7 league games a worry. For those holding..bench this week?
🔵CHE vs MUN🔴
CHE have created most big chances since GW7 whilst Chilwell & James are shining as key assets, both should be considered for a CHE defensive double up. Bookies give CHE a 48% chance of CS in GW13 whilst MUN have had the least shots in the PL over the last 3 GW's.
If your armband isn't on Mo this weekend then the best alternatives are probably the full backs who could all get clean sheets & attacking returns again
In order..
1st. TAA vs SOU
2nd. Cancelo vs WHU
3rd. James vs MUN
4th. Chilwell vs MUN
🔮 PREDICTIONS
➡️ Highest Scorers
1️⃣ Salah - 7.55
2️⃣ Kane - 6.93
3️⃣ Vardy - 6.79
4️⃣ Son - 6.54
5️⃣ Mane - 6.52
6️⃣ TAA - 6.25
7️⃣ Foden - 6.00
8️⃣ Aubameyang - 5.70
9️⃣ Jimenez - 5.57
🔟 Barnes - 5.38
14 clean sheets (2nd) last season but only 4 of those came at home, that said with 3 home matches in that first 5 GWs I'm certainly not put off ARS defence coverage.
💭 My initial reaction was to lean towards RAMSDALE, but with RAYA signed he's one to avoid IMO
GABRIEL now the stand out option. 2nd best xG of all DEF's last season, 10 goals in last 3 seasons. A threat from set pieces
📉 SALIBA to be considered if you want away from template
Toney with a hat trick vs LEE including a banging free kick. He's now on 5goals & 2assists for the season
Mitrovic with another goal vs TOT. Back to back goals in each of their last 4games taking him to 6goals for the season.
Both strikers are high on my radar!
✍🏻 GW6 Notes
MUN with another win, whilst ARS dominated large spells MUN were clinical in attack. Antony debut goal & Eriksen was excellent, but Rashford the stand out FPL asset with goal & assist
Finally a LIV clean sheet! But TAA subbed on 59mins & Robbo benched! Frustrating!
Haaland with another hat trick vs NFO. Back to back hattys & 9goals already this season. Incredible
Mitrovic on the scoresheet once again, that's 5 in 5 for him. Don't let ties vs TOT & CHE put you off him, he'll cause even the best defences a problem in this form
📝 GW5 Notes
A very encouraging debut from Isak with a well taken goal & unlucky to have a second effort disallowed. At just £7.0 he's definitely worth keeping tabs on.
Back to back CS for MUN & 19pts from last two games for Dalot. At £4.4 he could be worth consideration
