the good news is that there's still a few years left to start and lots of new platforms to conquer

the bad news is that most people dont realize how giga skewed the attention economy will be towards early participants with an existing following (proof of work / social relevance)

i would think that the most valuable accounts end up as mini media companies (low headcount)

able to internalize any crucial function and outsource the rest

able to hot swap characters of the accounts, or even the people playing those characters

really makes you wonder if im a one man army churning out all these banger tweets and memes by myself or if i have teams, or multiple teams, working shifts to man it and seamlessly switch

probably means that within the next decade we get a flippening from

1 person running multiple alts

to

multiple people running 1 account

so i guess we'll see social media platforms create and squeeze in a "top level account" (existing accounts can be upgraded into or later downgraded out of this tier) that acts like a master / umbrella account to several accounts to manage / post from 🤔

could be a front facing account so that the contributors are known, and it could also be back facing, so that the people manning these accounts are unknown to the public 🤔

btw this also means that internet gurus that have been shilling about building your "personal brand" under your individual name, will probably be wrong in the future economy when personal branding becomes limiting, rather than differentiating (already is)

i think its still sort of right for now, and will probably be okay into the 1st era of the attention economy, but then will lose value quickly beyond that
