mostly i just been screwing around with what fighting games are on the ps now service and boy that virtua fighter 5 release is disappointing huh

especially when like. virtua fighter 4 on the ps2 was one of THE big deals in various modes and replay value, right? i'm not imagining that?

i've also given the power rangers fighting game a try and it's alright, but i just don't like the 'weight' of the characters, especially during jumps. not BAD, just not my style

also i feel bad for them in specifically licensing MMPR instead of super sentai because i get the feeling that dealing with haim saban is actually MORE of a pain than dealing with the original companies, given what happened to chroma squad

like don't get me wrong, i grew up with power rangers, i've got nostalgia for power rangers, i'll play an MMPR game instead of a super sentai one no problem, i just know haim saban are huge assholes to deal with

if i do have a complaint other than 'it's not bad, it's just not for me' it's that their backgrounds/levels are very bland, but this is a problem with like tons of modern 3d fighting games now, even ones by heavy hitters like capcom
