The embassy and Israel’s Ministry of Tourism spearheaded a Stakeholder’s Tourism Forum in #Davao City attended by the directors of #tourism of the local governments in the region and private sectors. The event highlighted the promotion of tourism b/w Israel and the Philippines.
“Philippine Airlines is aiming to start direct flights to Israel by April next year. This is expected to boost the tourism, economy, and people-to-people relations between Israel and the Philippines. Filipinos are entitled to free visa access to 🇮🇱 for 90 days,” Amb. Fluss said
Ambassador Ilan Fluss announced. "You can combine your traditional #HolyLand tour with a modern culinary and night life in #TelAviv. Israel is also a hub of technology and innovation you can enjoy and learn from," Ambassador recommended.
Director for Israel Ministry of Tourism offices in India and the Philippines, Mr. Sammy Yahia presented virtually about the future of Agro-tourism relevant to Davao City.
The event was hosted by Director Tanya Rabat of the Department of Tourism. Israel's Honorary Consul to Mindanao based in Davao City Mr. Jorge Marquez was also in attendance.

The Embassy of Israel in the Philippines & Israel's Economic & Commercial Mission to the PH, in cooperation with the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII) held the Davao-Israel Business Forum to boost the #trade and #economic relations b/w #Israel and #Davao.
Ambassador Ilan Fluss said during the forum that Davao is an ideal city for Israeli #businesses to venture being the “#foodbasket” of the Philippines.
The forum featured an overview of the Israel #AgroTechnology Sector presented by Mr. Tomer Heyvi, Israel’s Economic Counsellor and Head of Mission.
