#1. Take a deep breath. Farmer dad doesn't die. Let's go to next tweet below..⬇️
#2. The story begins when a Farmer'ss son (let's call him lil jimmy" is about to go to college. ⬇️
#2. "Love at first sight" Jimmy meets his future wife & of course chipotle wants to be "politically correct" by showing a black woman. All cool. I like that! ⬇️
#3. Back Home, Dad's in the farm is in trouble.. He is literally underwater, nothing's working out!⬇️
#4. Lil Jimmy is in college to study agriculture. He is learning the innovative way of farming! ⬇️
#5. OK. Here's where they messed up. The "Advertising" guy in me knows that now Lil Jimmy is grown up now, Ad fails to show that he's grown up now. He is Big jimmy now and misses his home. ⬇️
#6. Back at the Farm, Dad is getting old and can't keep up. Ever heard of a farmer getting a heart attack? me neither. This ENTIRE scene could have been SKIPPED and @ChipotleTweets could have shown them "Retiring" without "FALLING in SNOW" ⬇️
#7. Farmer dad is retiring, not dead. This could have been done better too. You cannot show people getting HURT during the festive season unless you selling insurance!⬇️
#8. Lil Jimmy is "married" now, we see that on photo with a white gown and tux, but he is not happy because he can't find purpose in his life. Misses his old days in the farm... ⬇️
#9. Jimmy goes back to farming with his wife and kids and uses all the nifty stuff he learned in college to make farming easier. ⬇️
#10. On this scene we see that @ChipotleTweets buys from Farmers... to show their food is FRESH... Now, this is where Chipotle could have done better... i will explain ⬇️
#11. The animation should have followed the truck to a Chipotle restaurant where we show people eating fresh. This would have shown, "Chipotle Buys From LOCAL farmers and ingredients are fresh"... that's all they had to do. ⬇️
That's it. If you enjoyed this thread, please consider going back to the first tweet and re-sharing ( re-tweeting it) and follow me for threads like these. :) @gairesatish
