We are establishing an Association in Switzerland with the help of a great Canadian-Swiss-UK legal team. This association and current structure lay the groundwork for a DAO. Yes, yes, but what is Functionland building, what's on the roadmap🗺?

Why should you be paying attention to Functionland? Our organization is built upon first principles. We asked - how can all citizens be participants in #Web3 . How can non-technical people jump on board and start using dApps? How do we truly decentralize the decentralized web🌎

The answer is hardware. A form-factor that makes connecting to the blockchain seamless for consumers. Plug-n-play. No configuration needed. Modular, and composable, your 'Box' can be whatever you want it to be, change out towers or add storage as you go.

We have talked about 📸 a lot. That is because we (as in the collective open-source community) have built an open source equivalent of google or apple photos, a photos dApp. With possibly even better UI/UX. dApps need to be a delight to use if we want to accelerate adoption.

With Functionland’s Photos dApp, migrate your photos from google with the click of a button and store via #Dfinity #Filecoin or the Borg Protocol. Yes we have a Protocol and a token ecosystem. But consider the Borg Protocol invisible to you as a user. Just use the dApps you love!

Will there be more dApps? Functionland’s Blockchain-Attached Storage (BAS) devices will be delivered with a photos 📸app, a storage Drive, and a password manager. The rest will be built by developers all over the world 🌎

Why would developers opt to build dApps that users expect for free? 🤔Users mint token on their Boxes for the purposes of performing net zero p2p transactions. The Borg Protocol automatically rewards developers for their contributions to #DApps

Functionland’s software protocols are #devtools. Our API’s lets front-end engineers launch dApps w/o needing to know backend or blockchain engineering. If your code goes into a dApp that is used by a consumer - you are rewarded in Borg token.
