If you are happy with your cable/high speed internet provider, and they have C-SPAN, let me know. (Prices seem a lot higher than last time I cross-shopped)
“Just the taxes and fees* on my cable bill are now more than $100 a month.
I don’t even have HBO, I barely watch TV. I just need the news networks for work. And you can’t get C-SPAN without cable.
This is the fees section. I couldn’t explain half of these to you, but they are making some people very rich. I asked if I could nix all the sports channels so I don’t have to pay this dumb “surcharge.” Nope. $24 a month for access to free TV channels I can get with an antenna?

Got my booster last night. Woke up feeling feverish. Took two Tylenol. Now feeling great. *Get your shots*
💉💉💉
Get vaccinated to protect yourselves and your loved ones. We are needlessly losing *hundreds of thousands of people* to horrible, lonely drowning deaths to misinformation, conspiracy crap and innumeracy.
My pharmacist said she’s already lost three friends to COVID and doesn’t understand why people won’t take the shots. They work.
YES. Pneumatic elevator! If your megamansion doesn't have one what are you even doing? I saw this and smiled ear to ear. And really, isn't that what we all need more of right now? #SaturdayNightZIllow
Romance. If I'm spending $14.5M, I want a tower 800 feet in the sky overlooking the ocean. #SaturdayNightZIllow
Reminder that the federal budget mostly on autopilot is on track to spend ~$60T with ~$45T revenue over next decade. BBB changes the trajectory of that spending and taxing by a few percent.
BBB is a lot smaller than Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Defense Department, etc. is it big? Yes. ARP and CARES were similar in size but on a *much* more compressed timeline. This is long-term bill.
Remember fiscal cliff deal? The deficit impact of that Obama-Biden-McConnell law extending most of the Bush tax cuts *but not Obama’s* is about $500B a year *today.*
