1/ THREAD: To be clear, Rep. Lauren Boebert did not apologize to Rep. Ilhan Omar. A 'Twitter apology' is NOT an apology. Boebert's was a weak pseudo-apology.
2/ A true apology requires much more. And what Boebert did and said were no simple mistakes — Boebert's acts of malice and racism were deliberate and planned.
3/ Components of a Sincere Apology:
• An apology must always be given by the person who committed the act in question - not by a manager, an attorney, a press secretary - or other surrogates.
4/ • An apology must never be scripted/written ahead of time (neither by the person apologizing or by their attorney, or some other third party) — but an apology must be spoken, unscripted, from the heart.
5/ • Reading from a script is not an apology — it's just reading — and if there is any emotion, it's often feigned.
Neither is tweeting an 'apology' a true apology — or posting it on a website, newspaper, etc.
6/ • An apology to the public should be given live — with press access. This is particularly true with a person holding public office. While some substitute this with a prerecorded video-audio format — this MO is a deliberate attempt at control and is considerably less sincere.
7/ • At such public apologies, there should be no other subjects discussed, unless, of course, there is an ongoing emergency.
8/ • A public apology to a surrogate or group is never be a substitute for also apologizing directly the person to whom the apology is owed, face-to-face. Sometimes (often) both of these public and private apologies must be given.
9/ • An apology must be accompanied by clear acknowledgement of responsibility.
10/ • A sincere commitment to change must be made with any apology — so as to prevent further infractions.
11/ • An apology must include a specific repair offering (which should also include an asking, "What would you have me do to help make amends?")
12/ • Asking for forgiveness is required with an apology (i.e., Saying, "I'm sorry", while required — is incomplete. One must ALSO say, "Please forgive me", or "In time, I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me", etc., or similar.
13/ • Regret must be expressed with an apology — "I very much regret what I did to you".
14/ • The vocal qualities (tone, cadence, volume, etc.) of an apology must be congruent with sincerity.
15/ • The facial nonverbal signals and other body language displays accompanying any apology must be sincere.

1/ THREAD: Gaslighting/Covert Narcissism Breakdown:
Note how Travis McMichael manipulates this scenario/his actions into being your fault — you're getting aggravated — "If I have to talk to — if I talk to you like this, you can't hear me [lowers volume] you can get aggravated..."
2/ The above image, or cropped portions of it, has been circulated on multiple social media sites the last several days. It shows husband and wife, Josh and Erin Hawley 'kissing' after she spoke at one of his campaign rallies on 31 October 2018 in La Plata, Missouri.
3/ Look at the angle of each of their backs — each angles forward. Their feet, hips, and lower bodies are further apart than their torsos. Leaning into a hug or kiss is a significant signal of low affection.
2/ During a portion of his opening statement today, one of Kyle Rittenhouse's attorneys, Mark Richards, said that one of Rittenhouse's victims (Anthony Huber) was using his skateboard as a weapon, in an effort to attack and decapitate Rittenhouse.
3/ This still image shows Kyle Rittenhouse and his other defense attorney, Corey Chirafisi, during this opening statement.
On the surface, it was hundreds of QAnon followers, demonstrating their beliefs that JFKjr (who died in a plane crash in 1999 and was a Democrat) was going to come out of hiding heralding Trump's 'reinstatement' as President.
2/ Of course, Dealey Plaza was where JFK, who was also a Democrat and the 35th President of the United States, was assassinated 58 years ago this month.
3/ Unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Truly, without exaggeration, 1/3 of humanity (or more) is susceptible to cult behavior — and today's gathering in Dealey Plaza was a manifestation of that and another similar overlapping phenomenon — mass psychosis.
1/ THREAD: The Teton County coroner just announced that Gabby Petito's cause of death was strangulation — and the manner of death was homicide.
2/ If Ms. Petito were still alive, upon a detailed history, with extremely high likelihood, we would discover, that her fiancé/boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, has a history of choking Gabby. Indeed, such a history may already be documented in police records or via friends and family.
3/ Outside the context of highly specific *consensual* sexual practice (i.e., types of BDSM/Kink, 'breath play'), choking or anything resembling choking is a profound red flag.
2/ The following thread is an analysis of multiple videos published by the FBI and the Washington Post of the 5 January 2021 Pipe Bombing Suspect. I apologize for the length of this thread, but the details are many and necessary.
3/ There are multiple videos cited and linked within this thread. The original sources of the videos do not have them in chronological order, so in an effort to discuss them in the order in which they actually occurred, it is necessary to switch back between them multiple times.
