1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4624: Senator Josh Hawley, No Affection, and Kissing

#BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #EmotionalIntelligence #JoshHawley #Kissing #Kiss #LowAffection #Affection #ErinHawley
2/ The above image, or cropped portions of it, has been circulated on multiple social media sites the last several days. It shows husband and wife, Josh and Erin Hawley 'kissing' after she spoke at one of his campaign rallies on 31 October 2018 in La Plata, Missouri.
3/  Look at the angle of each of their backs — each angles forward. Their feet, hips, and lower bodies are further apart than their torsos. Leaning into a hug or kiss is a significant signal of low affection.
4/ Note how Erin stretches her neck much further than Josh. Josh is not meeting her halfway.
5/ Although we cannot see their hands, we can easily discern from their body configurations that only one out of four of their hands is making contact with the other person — Josh Hawley's left hand.
6/ Moreover this is Josh Hawley's, left hand — his non-dominant hand. This 'lesser hand' carries with it less emotional weight, less emotional comfort, less confidence, and less commitment than would his dominant hand.
7/ Look carefully at this close-up, we can tell that although Erin's eyelids are closed, Josh Hawley's eyelids are still open (Note he has no 'crows feet' while she does. You can see the margins of his eyelids are apart.)
8/ Eyelid closure makes a profound difference in the depth and the interpretation of a kiss.
9/ A healthy human sensory system input is 90% visual. Thus, the remaining 10% is "shared by the other four senses — taste, hearing, smell, and touch. Moreover, 40% of the mass of the human brain is dedicated exclusively to vision.
10/ When we close our eyes a slight readjustment of neurologic activity occurs — with less activity in the visual cortex — and a little more in other regions — the areas dedicated to the other senses.
11/ It follows then, that the other four senses experience a corresponding up-regulation of sensitivity. Think about this phenomenon for a moment.
12/ When we close our eyes tasting chocolate mousse — smelling a lilac — listening to a faint sound — when gently with our fingertips — our senses all experience an immediate increase in sensitivity.
13/ However, not only do these other four senses become more perceptive — our cognitive focus also increases (we often close our eyes to concentrate) — AND our emotions of affection also become more intense.
14/ Thus, when sincere affection is present, the vast majority of times, when kissing or hugging another person (or even when we kiss or hug an animal) — we close our eyes.
15/ It's important to stress that such eye closing whilst hugging or kissing does not require a sexual context — but does correlate with affection.
16/ Closing our eyes temporarily amplifies our non-visual senses, our cognition — and our emotions. This action helps us to more fully drink-in every ounce of feeling — being more fully present in the moment.
17/  Closing one’s eyes in these emotional moments facilitates a natural form of positive biofeedback.
18/ Another characteristic which jumps out in this image are Josh Hawley's Lips. They are tightened, narrowed, thinned — and pulled inward. Moreover, the horizontal dimension of his lips are also shortened.
19/ When there is true desire. When one is truly wanting and welcoming a kiss, the lips grow relaxed, full, flushed, and welcoming.
20/ Erin Hawley's lips are also configured similarly.
21/ Now look at Josh Hawley's chin. The tissue beneath his lower lip is bunched up so tightly, there is a temporary horizontal furrow formed on his chin. His lower chin also exhibits significant dimpling.
22/ We can easily see the muscles in his cheeks are bulging outward/laterally. This collection of mouth and chin displays indicates that Josh Hawley's jaw is clenched tightly closed.
23/ Now look just above Josh Hawley's upper lip. Notice how stretched the tissue is between his nose and upper lip. His nostrils are also dilated. These specific findings are consistent with disgust.
24/ This is absolutely NOT the posture one's face should adopt during anything remotely resembling an affectionate kiss.
25/ SUMMARY: Taken in toto, Josh Hawley's body language and facial findings seen in this moment are correlative with low affection — along with disgust, bitterness, and frustration.

1/ THREAD: What did we see today in Dealey Plaza?

On the surface, it was hundreds of QAnon followers, demonstrating their beliefs that JFKjr (who died in a plane crash in 1999 and was a Democrat) was going to come out of hiding heralding Trump's 'reinstatement' as President.
2/ Of course, Dealey Plaza was where JFK, who was also a Democrat and the 35th President of the United States, was assassinated 58 years ago this month.
3/ Unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Truly, without exaggeration, 1/3 of humanity (or more) is susceptible to cult behavior — and today's gathering in Dealey Plaza was a manifestation of that and another similar overlapping phenomenon — mass psychosis.

1/ THREAD: The Teton County coroner just announced that Gabby Petito's cause of death was strangulation — and the manner of death was homicide.
2/ If Ms. Petito were still alive, upon a detailed history, with extremely high likelihood, we would discover, that her fiancé/boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, has a history of choking Gabby. Indeed, such a history may already be documented in police records or via friends and family.
3/ Outside the context of highly specific *consensual* sexual practice (i.e., types of BDSM/Kink, 'breath play'), choking or anything resembling choking is a profound red flag.

1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4622: FBI and Washington Post Videos of Washington DC Pipe Bombing Suspect — 5 January 2021
#BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #EmotionalIntelligence #PipeBomb #DCPipeBomber
2/ The following thread is an analysis of multiple videos published by the FBI and the Washington Post of the 5 January 2021 Pipe Bombing Suspect. I apologize for the length of this thread, but the details are many and necessary.
3/ There are multiple videos cited and linked within this thread. The original sources of the videos do not have them in chronological order, so in an effort to discuss them in the order in which they actually occurred, it is necessary to switch back between them multiple times.

1/ THREAD: Neville Chamberlain believed he had reached an agreement for "Peace for our time" with Adolf Hitler. He meant well, but was as wrong as he could be. He, and for a short time, much of the world, were deceived.

2/ Closing one's eyelids during a hug is a manifestation of sincerity and depth of affection. This phenomenon is even holds true across species.
3/ 90% of our sensory input is visual, so that means that the other 4 senses (although there are other senses) must share the remaining 10% of sensory input.
