CDC study that vaxx is 5X better than natural immunity (NI)

A) was Jan-June data. It dropped to only 2 X better during Delta.

B) Conflates short/long term; doesn’t look how the two are 6!months after getting it.

C) 5 X better is just a few points apart: 1.6% infection vs 8.4%

The CDC study above shows infections in only 1.6% of vaccinated people. This is only from very short after getting jabbed or else we wouldn’t need boosters. Those are needed because there are infections in many more than just 1.6% jabbed people a few months after taking it.

RE CDC study of vaccines vs natural: There were infections in 1.6% jabbed vs 8.4% in previously-infected. That’s the “5 X more” number but honest headline would say: “Vaccine provides protection in only 7.4% more people than natural immunity.” But this would kill jab drives.

Basically, the CDC study did not have reinfections in 91.6 out of 100 people, and did not have infections in 98.4 out of 100 people. Take 91.6 and add 7.4% to it and it’s almost 98.4.

That’s right: jabs worked in only 7.4% more people than natural, yet we got this CDC meme:

Too many people in national media, here on Twitter and at @TwitterSupport are either too dumb/lazy to understand the above few tweets, or they are too partisan. Or else Fauci and @CDCDirector would be challenged on their claims about “5 X more” which is not what it appears.

The CDC study had no Coronavirus reinfections among 91.6% of previously-infected, and no infections in 98.4% jabbed, but headlining this would cool people off from vaccinating, so the CDC focused on the percent that did get vaccinated: 8.4% vs 1.6% which is a gap of 5 times.

It’s worse: The CDC’s tweet/meme didn’t yell about the 1.6% vs 8.4% infections because it’s only a few points apart. The CDC instead blared that natural immunity is 5 X weaker than vaxx.

Double propaganda.

In a regular product, state AGs or consumer protections would step in!
