#WinterSession of Parliament | The incidents of infiltration and terrorist attacks have been decreased significantly since 2018 in Jammu and Kashmir, says MHA in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha
A total of 143 incidents of infiltration took place in 2018. Only 28 infiltration incidents were recorded this year (till Nov): MHA

A total of 417 terrorist incidents was reported in 2018. This year (till NOV 21), a total of 244 terrorist incidents was reported:MHA

They are just sequencing it.What we do know at this time is that RT-PCR tests will be able to pick it up, Rapid Tests will be able to confirm that you've COVID&if you look at clinical symptoms&that symptom isn't same as Delta, you can safely assume it's #Omicron:Angelique Coetzee
If you look at clinical picture again, we know that as viruses evolve they tend to become less severe. However, we were not sure because of the 30 plus mutations. So, for now,if we look at the clinical picture, at primary healthcare level it's mostly mild cases: Angelique Coetzee

Some respected leaders&members of this august House, in their wisdom, chose to describe the suspension of 12 members as ‘undemocratic’. I have struggled to understand if there was any justification in that kind of a narrative being propagated but could not: Rajya Sabha Chairman Image
Latest suspension isn't the first time to have happened. Such suspension of members, starting in 1962 happened on 11 occasions till 2010,further to a Motion moved by Govts of the day. Were all of them undemocratic? If so,why it was resorted to so many times?: Rajya Sabha Chairman
