Good. I can’t tell you how bloodthirsty the talk about Ruby Freeman is.

Seriously, suing the Hofts is great — I hope they win the Hofts’ fucking mansions — but in a perfect world it’d be just the start.

The shit I’ve seen said about Ruby scarred *me.* I can’t even imagine how it would feel if I were the actual TARGET of these murder fantasies.
Fun fact: twice, people tried to break into Freeman’s house, supposedly to do a “citizen’s arrest.” This is on top of all the death threats.

The FBI told her her best bet was to flee the area, so she did.

And why? Black women make GREAT targets for a campaign of right-wing lies
Didn’t matter that the lies about her were debunked *by Republican officials*.

Hell, the debunk didn’t even reach Trump, or maybe it did and he decided not to believe it; either way, he mentioned this woman by name in his infamous calls to Georgia trying to overturn the election

The problem I have w/reporting on the alleged emails between Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden is:

It assumes the Definitely Real Hunter Biden Laptop is in fact real, and, uh, I have a lot of questions about that.

I mean, a LOT of questions.
To @pinealdecalcify’s observation below, I would add that Tore in particular — the one who first made this public in May of this year — is so fringey and untrustworthy that *other QAnon influencers* make fun of her for it.
Also, someone reasonably asked me: “How does it assume that?”

Good question! The answer:

The content is almost certainly sourced from the Definitely Real Laptop. There have been QAnon/stolen election cranks circulating bits and pieces of “damning emails” from it for months now.

The allegation is based on the public remarks of candidates & others involved with this effort.

Also, here’s the QAnon connection: Juan O Savin—a secretive influencer best known for the fact that some people think he’s JFK Jr—played a key role in recruiting some candidates. 🙃

If you don’t know those names: Tina Peters is the Colorado election official who gave inside info on her county’s systems to the Stop the Steal crowd.

Sherrona Bishop is her close associate & was Lauren Boebert’s campaign manager at one point.

To be clear: Boebert has been relatively chill about the investigation, putting out a public statement that she trusts the prosecutor to conduct it fairly and impartially.

I don’t wanna see people going “LAUREN BOEBERT SOMETHING SOMETHING, CONSPIRACY!”
Lauren Boebert is a shitty human being, and is a big part of the anti-democracy alliance that is… you know… almost the entire Republican Party these days.

Her former campaign manager is simpatico with that, as you would expect, and is running a large Stop the Steal campaign.

It would be easy -- and wrong -- to point and laugh at this post from a Trumpist attorney.

The truth, however, is VERY unfunny: as these people accept that the system -- as currently constituted -- simply won't give them the hangings they want, they will search for alternatives. Image
One alternative is to just go out there and kill your enemies your own damn self. This is rarely done, because the cost to the doer is *ruinous.*

Another is to change the system so that it WILL give you those sweet, sweet judicial murders.

This is the one I'm most worried about
I *am* glad to see any of this energy diverted into things like "LET'S BUILD OUR OWN ALTERNATIVE JUSTICE SYSTEM," bc it's basically a LARP.

Now, they /are/ still trying to LARP it into reality, so you could see it as political theater aimed at building a more fascist system...

LIN WOOD UPDATE:

Wood just posted a screenshot purporting to show that retired general *and former National Security Adviser* Mike Flynn:

A) gets news from notorious white supremacist/Holocaust denier Hal Turner

and

B) always knew Q was a fraud.

I really cannot stress enough how bad the Hal Turner thing is.

Flynn was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency before he became the Nat'l Security Adviser.

For him to be like "ah yes, this man who blames the Jews for everything? RELIABLE SOURCE!" is *pretty alarming.*
N.B. It is possible, of course, that the texts aren't legit. There's a hard cap on how reliable a source Lin Wood is, and the cap goes down quite a bit when he's talking about someone with whom he's enmeshed in a blood feud.

Which is almost everyone he's ever met, at this point.
