I recently argued why 5 year old children shouldn't be subjected to mandatory covid vaccination, especially while the Pfizer children's vax is under emergency use authorization only.

FDA granted only "emergency use authorization" of the Pfizer Covid vax for children ages 5-11. This is because the safety of the vaccine for this age range is still uncertain.

Pfizer has not submitted sufficient safety and efficacy data to the FDA to seek full approval for the Covid vaccine in children, and only sought approval for "emergency use," a significantly lower standard at the FDA.

Pfizer: "We’re never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it. That’s just the way it goes."

Pfizer children's vax effectiveness was determined by only comparing 16 cases of Covid in unvaccinated children to 3 cases of breakthrough Covid in vaccinated children.

Only statement arguably substantiated by data: the Covid shot confers an individual benefit on adults, assisting the vaccinated person in fighting off infection from the early variants of the virus, reducing severity of the symptoms & likelihood of death- within first 6 months.

Coronavirus has been shown to affect children differently than adults. Children are naturally more resilient to Covid and the effects of Covid. The death rate for children from the common flu is twice as high as the rate for children who contracted Covid. nature.com/articles/d4158…

Johns Hopkins team analyzed 48,000 children under age 18 diagnosed with Covid; they found a mortality rate of ZERO in children without a pre-existing medical condition like leukemia. There were ZERO Covid deaths among healthy young children in this study.wsj.com/articles/cdc-c…

The Covid vaccine is in emergency use authorization for children who **medically need it** it is not in emergency use to be mandated for healthy children.

Of note -- Pfizer presented a study to the FDA with only ***3,000 children*** participants.

Compare this to standard studies that enroll ***tens of thousands*** of children participants.

Data on long term efficacy or safety is of course still unavailable.

US data shows boys aged 12-15 with no underlying medical conditions were 4-6Xs more likely to be diagnosed with Covid-vaccine-induced myocarditis than ending up in the hospital from an actual Covid infection; 86% of these boys required hospitalization. medrxiv.org/content/10.110…

This means that the covid vaccine caused heart problems and hospitalization in healthy boys who would have otherwise not been hospitalized with an actual Covid infection.

Data for children under age 12 has not been gathered. This is alarming.

It seems that many have not accounted for the distinction between adults & children in the realm of Covid vaccines.

Adults & children have a significant medical differential when it comes to Covid disease AND Covid vaccination, requiring particularized consideration.
