1/ Because #MN isn't soft enough on criminals, the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission is moving to further weaken criminal accountability in a vote to eliminate the addition of "custody points" to sentencing calculations.
2/ Petition to urge the MN Sentencing Guidelines Commission to vote NO on weakening felony sentences.
The vote is scheduled for Dec. 16.

.
3/ You can attend the public meeting at 1:00 pm on December 16th and voice your opposition to this change in person.

4/ Most seats on the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission are appointed by the governor.
So, remember, voting has consequences.
When you vote for people who are soft on crime, they put unelected people in power who enact soft on crime policies.
5/ BTW, only one local mainstream #MNmedia outlet reported on this proposed change to weaken sentencing and it wasn't the state's "newspaper of record" @StarTribune or @WCCO@KSTP@FOX9 or @kare11.
Why won't they inform you?
