A robbery caused a crash. One person may have a broken leg. Some of the injured may be suspects.

The Subaru is a stolen vehicle. Two people still on scene were jumped by the suspects. Then a bystander tried to intervene and crashed his vehicle into the suspect vehicle.
One of the injured suspects just showed up at HCMC.
The other left in a maroon vehicle.

A female suspect was driving the maroon vehicle, updated to a Nissan Murano.
A deputy at HCMC says the suspect at the hospital is the same suspect who shot a blank at another robbery victim a couple days ago (we posted that).
Here's that prior incident. The suspect at the time, described as a skinny WM, fled on foot.

 There was just a call for an EDP who thinks relatives are hiding in his floorboards. The responder asked, "is this a police call, is Car 74 available?" Ya know, the $6M mental health responders who were supposed to have started last month?

 The officer said he heard they were starting at 7:30 a.m. today. Dispatcher said they're not starting until later because they have to hold a press conference.

So, screw people in need, we have to blow smoke and pat ourselves on the back first.

5th Precinct: Carjacking at gunpoint. Victim said the suspects fired a shot at their chest but nothing came out, so they think it was a blank.
Three suspects: One WM, one Native.
Loss: Blue Altima, plate CCX17*, and phone.
Now may be at 22nd & Lyndale Ave S.

Police arrived at the Speedway at 22nd and Lyndale Ave S. The Altima is reportedly there.
One suspect is running westbound, now south on Garfield: M, gray hoodie.

The Altima has been recovered at the gas station.

A search perimeter is being set up for the suspects.

Ground search for a suspect who fled from police in the area on 21st and Elliot Ave S. One other suspect is detained. A gun was found in the vehicle the suspect fled from, but he's believed to have another gun that he pointed at a victim.

Homicide number 92.
Early morning, about 3:30 a.m., police were dispatched on three Shotspotter activations and found two victims shot. CPR was started on one victim.
44th and Aldrich Ave N

MPD confirmed this morning that a male and female were shot and the female died.

Keep in mind, those were mostly gang on gang shootings and homicides, which differs from this year with many innocent victims shot and/or murdered this year.

 Because #MN isn't soft enough on criminals, the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission is moving to further weaken criminal accountability in a vote to eliminate the addition of "custody points" to sentencing calculations.
