The iconic Taj Mahal Palace & Gateway of India!

No, not the first visit. Have come here way too often. But it was finally time to be on the inside of the @TajMahalMumbai instead of standing outside & admiring.

(4/n) Going beyond the room video into the 3-day experience, I would rate if 8 oo 10. A couple of things were disappointing but before that all the good things that made the stay memorable. Sharing some photos from in and around the property.

(6/n) Even without the festive decorations, there is a whole lot of colour using real flowers and a lot of paintings and artifacts. Definitely makes it visually appealing.

(7/n) Me and my wife tried a decent number of in-house restaurants, service as well as in-room dining @TajMahalMumbai. Our rating of different aspects (Out of 10)

Spa - 10
Breakfast @ Shamiana - 9
Lunch @ Masala Kraft - 9
Butler Service - 9

Breakfast @ Souk - 7

A bitter experience at Souk resulted in a rating of 7.

(9/n) Souk Experience - Super View from the 21st Floor of the Tower wing but two -ve things

1. Breakfast spread was severely truncated as compared to Shamiana
2. Denied take away of couple of muffins for daughter. Thats a first for me.

(10/n) Special mention to the Housekeeping Staff. They engage u in conversation so effortless while doing their work.

At the end of the stay, the HK staff gifted my wife and Daughter a Scarf.

Luxury Grande City View - 1 Night
Executive Suite City View - 2 Nights

Was upgraded to Exec. Suite on the 1st day to avoid room changing later.

(12/n) The only sorrow I have was not having stayed in a sea view room to have such a viee thru the day and night.

(13/n) Major portion of the stay, food & in-house services was paid for using Amex & some other Taj Vouchers.

Standard revenue price of the stay & all facilities used would be Approx. 1.8 Lacs for 3 Nights.

But its definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

(14/n) Missed mentioning the Sunday Special @ Breakfast.

A Mickey Mouse Dosa prepared for daughter. I could see a Batman dosa prepared for boys too.
