As a paid social consultant, the most valuable thing I can do is to help brands with their creative strategy and execution on TikTok.
The great thing is that ads that work on TikTok also work great on Facebook (but not the other way around).
While having a good ad account structure on TikTok is important, really the most important thing is to have a heavy stream of new creatives to test each week.
Creatives on TikTok fatigue fast! Way faster than FB.
So each week, I work with my UGC girls to get new ad content.
Testing different video hooks is incredibly important on TikTok.
Just slightly changing the opening scene can have a huge impact on performance.
Here's an example of an ad we did this week. V1 is testing the opener of ripping the laundry detergent sheet...
Where as V2 is testing taking the laundry out of the washer.
Just a simple change of the first 3 seconds can massively impact the ad's performance.
Luckily I have an amazing network of UGC talent and ad editors so I can get my clients new ad versions on a weekly basis.
So if you are on the fence about testing TikTok ads...
Of course, do it!
I am releasing a TikTok course VERY soon that will dive deeper into TikTok attribution, creative tutorials, etc so keep an eye out :).
Or if you want to work with me on TikTok ads, I'd love to chat!

The 7 Essential Ingredients of Top-Performing Video Ads:
1. The Hook: Your 3-second attention grabber
Spend 50% of your time on this! Use split screens, transformations, handwriting animations, or oddly satisfying visuals. Make them stop scrolling!
2. Agitate the Hook: Fan the flames of curiosity
Expand on your hook. Tease the problem you're about to solve. Make them wonder, "What's next?"
🌟EXAMPLE:
Hook = I bet you didn't know these things about [insert product]
Agitate = It contains unique properties that you can't find in just any ordinary [product category]

3. Introduce Your Product: Here comes the hero!
Present your solution clearly and concisely. Show how it addresses the pain point you've highlighted.
4. Tutorial Time: Show, don't just tell
Quick, easy-to-follow steps on how to use your product. Make it look effortless and appealing.
5. Highlight Benefits: What's in it for them?
Showcase key advantages. Sprinkle in a glowing testimonial for extra impact.
6. Social Proof: Everyone's doing it!
5-star reviews, press, influencer endorsements. Show that your product is trusted and loved.
What do the top advertisers on Meta and TikTok like The Farmers Dog, Poshmark, and Hims have in comment? They all have amazing ad creatives, and they hire me to make them.
Here are 15 top ad formats for you to use as inspiration:
#1 Let me change your mind about _________
#2 It's time to ditch ______, and get something much better from _____
#3 Fake Podcast (I am LITERALLY obsessed with this ad format)
I randomly started a product review blog that now gets over 10 million impressions and 2 million post engagements a month on Facebook.
Here's the story of my most successful side project:
I got started with my review blog "Savvy Finds" last year when I saw a trend that ads going through publisher FB pages performed better than ads going through brand pages.
I ran lots of A/B tests on the ads I was making for clients from the Savvy Finds page vs their brand page.
I saw that the ads running through the Savvy Finds page were nearly always the winner, with all variables remaining the same. So for every ad I make for clients, I let them test the ads through Savvy Finds.
