How 2021 ends: Drake rapping along to classic Kanye lines like a fan, on stage with Kanye, as Kanye raps them on the mic.
Kanye opened with and did mostly old classic hits (not Donda); Drake opens with several off his new album.
also impressive how they've both been performing on a gigantic ice cube.
so far, Drake is lucky this is not a verzuz.
(but if it were Drake would have a different hit-laden set list, so.)

Breaking: Guilty murder verdicts for the 3 defendants in the killing of the Ahmaud Arbery.
New: Guilty murder verdicts for the 3 defendants in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery.

The verdict applies “felony murder” law — a murder occurring while committing another felony.
Note the charges and arrest of Arbery’s killers only came *after* a video came out of the killing.

Today the jury finds it was murder — originally, the authorities did *not even charge* it as a case.

Is Steve Bannon headed to jail?

His legal defense contradicts his public bluster - claiming t's time to go on "offense" in his podcast, but asking a judge for more time to prepare for a "complex" case.

The judge just said no.
Bannon is trying to invoke his own criminal trial for media content and political grievance -- a rerun of Pres. Trump's ploys, but without Presidential powers.

With no executive privilege or pardons, this could end very different.

Put Bannon's drama aside, and this prosecution matters for a much more important reason:

Legally, it is the beginning of the *criminal* cover up phase of the attempted coup.

"Trending” captures our current era, where virtually all topics — even state-sanctioned murder — are reduced to their “viral” elements.

An issue or stance becomes “hot,” then fades like it’s some sort of fashion...
The sign's from last summer; @kendricklamar tackles the same theme in his new song:
