I'm so frustrated with radio stations that claim to be serving their communities. Tonight we had two major tornado incidents, one killed two dead in one and countless others missing in an Amazon warehouse collapse. I go to the all news radio stations website and see this. 1/3
It is completely unacceptable for a #radio station to call themselves #news radio and not have 1 word about deaths and damage hours after it happens. They still have the story from this morning saying it could be bad this afternoon. #Tornado @KMOX #stlwx 2/3
And while the "newsradio" station is running recorded programs, the TV stations that do news have done an amazing job wall to wall and now that it's 12:22 in the morning are still doing cut-ins from the @amazon warehouse. @FOX2now @kmov @ksdknews #StLouis 3/3
Bonus content: even the newspaper, @stltoday, which sometimes doesn't get it right, has up-to-date coverage on their website at 12:27 in the morning. Still nothing on that News radio website. #news #STL Coverage of the Amazon Warehouse disaster from the St Louis
Props to @zimmtv @SteveTempleton @scottontvKSDK @newsboss58 and all of the reporters, photographers, and crew on the street getting wet, never stopping, and seeing #horror IRL. cc: @onthemedia @sdkstl @brianstelter @DavidJFieldAUD @jdelcolliano
I feel like Columbo, just one more thing. Thank God there is Network Radio because @KMOX covered the tornado with about 40 seconds of the @CBSNews top of the hour newscast at 1:00 a.m. and then went directly into recorded programming with not a local word. Deplorable
And at 1:11 a.m. the three TV stations that do local news are still banging away with people in the studio, weatherman who have been on the air for 9 hours straight, and reporters live in the field. Radio absolutely blew this, and that's why the medium has lost credibility.
Allllllrighty then. KMOX NEWS had blocked me.
Saturday afternoon, as they were pulling out victims and identifying them, the station ran paid programming and then followed up with a college basketball game. They didn't carry the news conferences from Missouri or from Illinois and didn't keep their website up to date.

1/3 @FedEx @FedExHelp so yeah, I waited about 2 1/2 hours for you to respond when I sent you my contact information and didn't happen so I took it upon myself to get my package delivered. Found a manager who realized that I had been lied to and took it upon
2/3 himself to bring the package to my house after he got off work at 10:45 PM. Now that wasn't the 8:00 p.m. that you promised the package would be delivered by, but just like there's video proof of no driver showing up at my house at 7:17 like you claim they did,
3/3 I was able to rather clumsily capture the handoff on video to prove that there is at least one righteous person working at @FedEx.
