The number quoted here by Jacquie who works for Sky News does not reflect the national picture where its 48% in November. There will be regional variations and so no reason to dispute her.

She talks of cancer ops being cancelled and this is nothing new - see below before Covid.

➡️ It was 74.8% in June but Sarah using out of date report. Current estimates for November are 48% ❌
This is the second week in a row I have had to call out information being broadcast on the Jeremy Vine radio 2 show.
Having challenged Jeremy on this (as he said it) he blocked me.

🚨🚨 Very little change in the number of reported #Covid19 cases in Wales over the past week - up 1%.

◼️ The number of tests is up 3%.

◼️ 7 day rolling average of confirmed Covid patients in hospital continues to fall and 71% lower than last year
Rates of Covid are highest on Anglesey and lowest in Ceredigion.
The % of tests coming back positive has been trending down in Wales.

I have done several threads highlighting the media misreporting the number of unvaccinated patients in hospitals (see next tweet for thread) claiming more than there are.

For balance, this is not to suggest vaccines are a bad thing.

My blog shows that those unvaccinated who are identified as a Covid case are more likely to be admitted to hospital.

We don't know how much bias there is with those coming forward for testing, for example, are unvaccinated mainly picked up at hospitals.

In 2014, Karren Brady was elevated to the House of Lords as a Conservative life peer

Soon Boris will change the goalposts & make everyone with two doses no longer fully vaccinated & the Covid Pass redundant

Karren supports restricting lives if you don't want constant vaccines.
In her column she writes...

It would be fine if it just affected them, but it doesn’t. In recent weeks some 39 per cent of Covid patients in hospital have not been vaccinated; a number that rises significantly within intensive care units

➡️ 39% correct. It rises to 48% for ICU
It's not surprising to me having been made a Conservative life peer she is peddling out the Government line.
