They found this one from Swansea University which is worrying because they do the modelling for the Welsh Government on Covid scenarios - this was on just now.

There are not even 10,000 patients in hospital across the whole of Wales.

This is terrible journalism.

Another to add to the long thread of this weeks mainstream media misreporting of facts.

See thread here including BBC, ITV, LBC and Sky. To be fair to LBC and Sky it was their contributors and not the hosts or resident doctor putting out wrong information.

The 286 I quote above is the number of confirmed Covid patients. The graphic I posted in the thread shows there are a further 204 recovering and had Covid.

Add the two together, multiply by 20 and you get closer to the numbers she quoting.
