Yes, because the biggest issue over the last year was teacher burnout. They definitely earned more breaks and there is no need to keep kids in school to make up for the enormous learning loss.

Everyone has burnout from the pandemic. Most professions had to adjust to how they did business and deal with enormous strain. But no other profession had their unions insist and receive constant special treatment to the point where they actively harmed their customers.

Teachers' Unions spent all of 2020 fighting to keep schools closed while extorting concessions like insane funding levels and vaccine preferences. Those closures were not scientifically justifiable and did enormous harm to children. They didn't seem to care.

And those same unions/officials focused on ways to change curriculums to take away basic education and replace it with political indoctrination. It became more noticeable to parents with kids learning from home.

That all led to a lot of justifiable resentment from parents.

And keep in mind, closures also made things extremely difficult for working parents that relied on schools during their workdays. No one cared.

Now we finally have kids back in schools and it's apparent they are looking for any opportunity to screw kids over yet again.

It's become clear that teachers' unions, which represent teachers, just don't prioritize the well-being of kids. As such, parents are just tired of it and feel like they deserve to get more from our education system.

And they are right.
