#6 on our list is the successful focus on increasing the numbers and diversity of our in-house foster carers, and using more kinship carers, to ensure the best outcomes possible for children who are looked after.

#7 on our list is our reform of waste collection, meaning waste is off the street quicker, and that next week - after Christmas - your rubbish will be collected on the same day as usual.

#10 on our list is continuing to improve to our parks. Gone for a walk in Cardiff over Christmas? Chances are, it was to a park awarded a Green Flag for excellence, thanks to @cardifflabour investment and the hard work of Council staff.

#12 on @cardifflabour's list of achievements is our work promoting the circular economy, in particular through opening a new Reuse Store at Lamby Way in October, that's already saved thousands of items from the skip.

#16 on our list - as people's thoughts start to turn towards a spring clean - is the continuing work of the Council's blitz team, that have received extra funding in every Council budget round over the last 4 years.

#17 on our list - the rapid action to process and distribute Covid support to businesses, as well as lobbying to secure additional support. It's work that's still ongoing, with over £130 million distributed to date. Image
#18 on the list is the Into Work Service, which has provided support and advice to over 70,000 people in Cardiff looking to find work or upskill.

#19 on our list is the Single Point of Contact in hospitals - better known as the Pink Army - empowering patients to step down safely and effectively from hospital care to care in the community

#20 on our list is a huge increase in the budget for repairing roads and pavements, meaning hundreds of streets getting resurfaced every year.

#23 on our list is the Major Events we hosted over the last 5 years, in particular the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, which saw 300,000 fans travel to Cardiff.

We can't wait to have such events back again, and are working hard on it behind the scenes.

#24 on our list is the unprecedented steps we took to secure supplies of PPE in response to Covid, so that vital Council services could still be delivered.

#25 on our list - a Quarter of the way through! Today we're highlighting the significant investment we put in to protect day centre provision for older people, fully refurbishing day centres in Ely, Fairwater and Llanrumney.

#26 is our work supporting and promoting Cardiff's economy, with 50,000 more people working in the city over a 5 year period, and nearly 7000 jobs created or protected in the city thanks directly to the Council's work.

#33 The City Centre Recovery Action Plan goes to Cabinet for approval tomorrow - the latest part of our response to revitalise Cardiff in the wake of Covid 19 - getting people back into the city, and protecting 70,000 city centre jobs.

#40 on our list is the volunteer mobilisation and fundraising we initiated as part of our Covid response. The selflessness shown by Cardiffians was exemplary; the partnership between the Council and its residents showing Cardiff at it's best. Thank you.

#43 is our work making 20mph the default speed for residential areas. 20 is plenty, and we're proud of our leading work on this, which will soon be emulated across the rest of Wales thanks to our @WelshLabour Government.
