They anticipated the need so much that they refused to waive IP protections so that more vaccines could be made worldwide and in doing so helped create the situation where Omicron was created. Total gaslighting by @chrislhayes here. One of the worst segments he’s done in a while
Literally the argument against boosters was in part that new variants would be created if we said screw everyone but the US and thus getting them vaccinated should be prioritized and Hayes even did segments covering this yet now he’s lying to the point where I guarantee you
The higher ups stepped in and told him that this is the line people at MSNBC were to take about this or else. Can’t be actually blaming the incoming disaster on the Biden admin botching the hell out of things.

A mantra of mine, aside from unwritten rules are for suckers, is that half measures never work and are never a good answer.

at it’s best, most favorable interpretation, the Biden admin’s currents stance on Covid is a half measure not only in what to do to fight Covid but
It’s also a half measure about how to treat the willfully and without a damn good medical excuse unvaccinated.

even they’re statement which reads like the unvaxxed can prepare to die is insincere regardless of whether you would support that or not because it’s not like steps
Are truly being taken to separate the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. As a result any idea that unvaxxed don’t directly impact vaxxed is absurd as last I checked they still go to the same hospitals when sick and in many instances the same jobs, schools, and store

Joe Biden ran on Republicans having an epiphany and being able to work W them and he can’t even get the supposed Dems to go along w him. Anyone who pretended to take his “epiphany” argument at face value should be laughed out of the room and not given space on tv to spin more BS
Only a complete moron who woke up out of being in a coma for the previous 10 years could have possibly believed Republicans would work w Biden as he claimed. Yet media acted as if this was a real possibility because they are largely made up of hacks who just wanted Bernie lose

1) Because I’m a lunatic, I went thru 538’s live vlog of Nevada from yesterday.... twice. I had to go thru it twice so I could get the screen shots for this thread
2) I often talk about all of nate silver’s failings but one of his most underrated failings is the incompetent and at times moronic staff he has hired. A lot of these people have takes you would expect from Chris Cillizza

1) gonna go watch cable news from today. Hopefully the coverage won’t be as bad as yesterday‘s was since about 30 polls came out today and 29 of them were good to very good for Bernie
2) Things started off quite well on CNN with Inside Politics which was uncharacteristically fair to Bernie and covered him a decent amount during the 12 pm hour.

1 pm hour had a worthless mini segment fear mongering about socialism but it was followed up by a good interview
3) with @briebriejoy that is clipped below in 3 parts.
