December 18, 1927- Gorakhpur Central Jail. A middle-aged woman was waiting to see her son. Her husband and another young man too joined her. Her son was brought out in chains, and when he saw his mother, tears rolled down his eyes. It was his last day, tomorrow he would be hanged
As the mother saw the tears, she said, “What is this, my son? I had thought of my son as a great hero. I was thinking that the British Government would shiver at the very mention of his name. I never thought that my son would be afraid of death.”
To which her son replied
“Mother these are not tears of fear, these are the tears of joy, of beholding such a brave mother like you”.
The son was Ram Prasad Bismil, the mastermind behind the Kakori Rail Dacoity case, the man who popularized these immortal lines.:
“Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai, dekhna ki zor kitna baazu-e-qatil mein hai
was profound and this helped him to continue with his passion of writing poetry."
The turning point came in 1916, when Bhai Parmanand was sentenced to death for the Lahore conspiracy. Ram Prasad had become an admirer of Parmanand after reading his books, and the death sentence made him seethe with rage.
It was then and there itself that he took a vow to fight against the British government and told his Guru Somadevaji about this. His Guru advised him to think about it, as it could be quite difficult to keep a vow. That is when Ram Prasad touched his Guru’s feet and said:
It was his first step on the way to becoming a revolutionary, and by this time he was an active volunteer at the Shahjahanpur Seva Samithi.

Thakur Roshan Singh was born on January 22, 1892, in the village of Nabada, a well-known district of Uttar Pradesh, located in Shahjahanpur. His mother's name was Kaushalela Devi and the father's name was Thakur Jangi Singh.
Thakur Roshan Singh wrote a letter to his friend from the dime of Allahabad Naini jail on December 6, 1927 ...
" Hang in within a week. Pray to God that you do not harass me. My death will be the cause of happiness. It is definitely necessary to be born and die in the world.
Do not defame yourself by misbehaving in the world and remember God while dying, this should be two things. These two things are with me by the grace of God. Therefore, my death is not worth any kind of regret."
He had initially been given a sentence of 5 years imprisonment. But he instead recommended his lawyer to ask for the same punishment as Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil. After which Judge revised the punishment to be hanged till death. As soon as Judge revised it
Thakur Roshan Singh stood up from his chair and embraced the Pandit and happily, where," Oh Pandit! Do you want to go alone to death? Thakur no longer wants to leave you alone and alone. Here also he will go with you. "
Shahid Ashfaqulla Khan
Ashfaq Ula Khan was born on 22nd October, 1900 in Kandakhal Jalalnagar district, near the railway station in Shahjahanpur, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father's name was Mohammad Shafiq Ulla Khan. His mother, Mazhurunnisha Begum, was counted among the beautiful Khabatians.
When Bismil was declared a runaway after the incident of Manipur, the principality used to narrate the story of the bravery of Bismil to his younger brother Ashfaq. From then onwards, Ashfaq had a great desire to meet Bismil, as Ashfaq was also a poet and Bismil was also a poet.
When non-cooperation (non-cooperation movement) campaign started in 1922 and when Bismil organized a meeting to tell people about this campaign in Shahjahanpur, Ashfaqullah met Bismil in a public meeting and he introduced himself to Bismil
And later after being together for some time, Ashfaq and Bismil also became good friends. When Ashfaq used to write something, he used to show Bismil immediately and Bismil used to examine him and rectify the mistakes.
It is said that they (Britishers) had to keep Bismil and Ashfaq in cells far away from each other because they’d sing “Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai, dekhna hai zor kitna baazu-e-katil mein hai” and hear each other’s voices and then laugh triumphantly in the face
of atrocities. This irritated and broke the will of their oppressors.

Yesterday I shared the Shloka -
कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वती ।
करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥
Today I shall explain the reasoning behind it.
As Sanatan Dharma involves reasoning in everything that has been passed down to us in form of Knowledge.) Read till end
Our Shlokas are not just meant for chanting only because it was told so in Puranas or our Maharshi.
They have and will always have deeper essence only for if you one seeks to know the ESSENCE.
Let's understand the essence!
Karagre Vaste Lakshmi Shloka provides immense phsiological benefits thus it was said to be made the key shloka to be recited upon waking up and formed an imperative part of Vedic Dincharya (Daily Routine)
Today's Shloka should be recited everyday in the morning when you wake up as said by Maharshi Veda-Vyasa himself in Vishnu Purana and contemplate as mentioned.
