Probably my favorite movie of all time.

Within 20 years, Moser Baer became the world's 2nd largest CD manufacturer.

The crazy part?

It's worth nothing today.

Here is the story behind Moser Baer's steady rise and sudden demise👇👇👇
Deepak Puri was born and brought up in the state of New Delhi.

Entrepreneurial to begin with, he was always launching the next big idea.

The first one - a manufacturer of aluminum wires, pipes, & conductors.
It started off well but the violent pressures from the labor unions forced a sudden shutdown.

But that was no big deal for Puri, he dusted it off and went about building.

The second venture - a time recorder for bankers. A very promising start...

6 sixes of 6 balls.

The 2011 World Cup Man of the Series.

And a comeback from cancer.

This is the crazy story of the Prince of Cricket 👇👇👇
Yuvraj Singh was born on 12th December 1981 in Chandigarh.

As a kid, he was very interested in roller skating and even won the U-14 National Skating championship.

But that victory in skating is the reason his journey in cricket really started...
When Yuvi won the medal, his father, surprisingly, decided to throw it!

He told his son:

"I understand you can’t study but if you love sports so much at least take one that can get you somewhere…focus on cricket."

And just like that, Yuvi's life - as we know it - changed.

I'm a student at college.
Here's my daily routine 🧵

7 am: I shut my alarm and get out of bed. My roommate looks pissed but I say sorry, the grind never stops.

8 am: I text my fam "Wish me luck for my exam!" My dad responds by asking me about my major.
9 am: I start watching lecture videos at 2X speed. Goes over my head so just watch YouTube & Khan Academy instead.

10 am: I finish two sessions of the Pomodoro technique. You know the classic work for 10 & chill for 50. Now, it's exam time...
11 am: I finish the exam and discussed it with my friends. Left that room more confused than I was going in.

12 pm: I sit down for lunch and have a long meal. Keep thinking about what's worse - my performance or the food?

The crazy part?

Today she is India's wealthiest self-made, female billionaire.

The stunning story of Falguni Nayar and her company's $13 Bn valuation 👇👇👇
Falguni Nayar has business in her blood.

When she was born in 1963, her parents ran a small bearings company.

The house was filled with conversation about the stock market and investing.

Plus, she is Gujarati - and we Gujaratis are known for our business acumen.
Building off that, Falguni pursued an education in business and commerce.

With some managerial experience after college, she even landed a job at Kotak Mahindra Capital Co.

Rising through the ranks, she became the Managing Director in 2012.

And that's when it all changed...
