This was Vienna, Austria, last night at 7pm (infrared pic): silently wandering, filling one street around the old town, „the Ring“, with candles, flashlights, mobile phone‘s torches for commemorating the dead they suffered from amidst their families, friends neighbors. In silence
This crowd stood in silence, tending each and everyone’s of their lights, after 8 minutes at 7.08pm the whole “Ring” started clapping, cheering. Well, this does not do due to all the helpers, however: #YesWeCare is the message.

…
…and even though, naturally, not everyone could come to the capital that night: the organisers just asked for a candle in a window and some minutes of just thinking about the ones who left and the many that are working for all of us. This is not too much to ask for, however…
…this is how we work, as humans. Not all the time together but in one. Sometimes. And this is now.
Start it on your end, take the remembrance and the gratitude out, take any one light you can handle, meet at your city center at 7pm - hold silence for the passed ones and cheer…
… thereafter for those who are buckled in their burdens and by our expectations. Support. Finance. Ask for a better life. Be silent, but steady.
