options: male, female and unknown. And one might not identify as any of these three options. What do we do for this? On the topic of relationships, I've family who are in a relationship but aren't married, yet if you choose another option other than 'married' it puts them... /3
...in as married anyway! [Case in point below for demo purposes] As someone who has shown the family history to others I get a few looks wondering why I put them in as married when they aren't. I have to explain them why they've been entered as married. All I'm saying is... /4 
...if we want to move the genealogy industry forward and make #GenealogyForAll, taking these small steps could be a very positive change. Like I said at the start, we are often taught how to research in the past, but some things need to be brought into the here and now.
