As we approach 2022 it makes me think of one particular thing, the London Olympics in 2012. When one looks back it seems now it was the last remains of the fading light from a country that existed before this government came to power. 1/
Away from the politics for a moment, this country was a different country… a more unified country in a time before brexit even existed. Think about that, think about how devoid the national ether was of political stench and hate mongering. 2/
It was it can be argued socially more advanced, again more down to the longer term general advancement and enlightenment then politics, which came to an abrupt end when this government arrived. They hated it. 3/
And so now we look back and can say society was more advanced only because this government has done its best to move society backwards, with the hope of regressing back to the Victorian age. They love the “Victorians”. 4/
As we watched 2012 London Olympics, a beautiful Games, could we have imagined that the country 10 years later would be the bigoted hate filled shambles it now is? 5/
Quite simply, this government since its arrival has set about wrecking the social fabric of the country, ripping it apart along any lines it could find, and using whatever tactics needed to achieve that goal. 6/
I feel sorry for the country, to think all it had achieved, the progress it had made only for it to be undone by a bunch of leading lights from the stupid ignorant brigade. 7/
My hope for 2022 is that it marks the beginning of the rebuilding of the nation, a nation with pride, a nation with hope. However one thing is for sure, we have to do it, because this government absolutely will not. 8/
So let’s try and do that in 2022, because building bridges of hope will be the key to a better future for us all and will also oust this toxic and corrosive government. #FBPE #ToriesOutNow
