omg, no, they go get breakfast and ye baiyi tries to let xie'er know that he'll be cool, that he gets this is just because xie'er is on the rebound from zhao jing.

xie'er pauses with his pancake halfway to his mouth. he has not thought about zhao jing all morning.

xie'er's therapist is there to listen to xie'er and remind him that subsuming his sense of self never works out for him. xie'er knows! he knows but ugh.
