Those few that still go ahead see just as many red cards as before. Defenders of the system respond to their failure by asserting that there would be *even more* red cards without their dumb screening system.
Then they switch tactics and say players can be exempt from screening if they just take foul-preventing injections prior to matches. These injure an unknown number of players but also don’t have any measurable effect on fouls.
The geniuses running the circus loudly proclaim the success of their clearly pointless injections while simultaneously demanding players accept ever more of them. Gradually they start to reintroduce the biomarker screening system even for drugged footballers.
Simply accepting fouls as a fact of the sport is never considered, and so in the interests of making football more friendly the foul preventers continue to make it largely impossible instead.
