If you want to make money

All you do is follow these steps in order

You are starting with a service business.

You need to learn a skill - specifically one that can generate sales.

You need to be able to make SOMEBODY ELSE money GIVEN they have something you can work with.

They need either:
1. An email list
2. A social following
3. A sales team

Non-negotiables:

1. They must be selling something themselves
2. They must have testimonials, case studies, or proof their product/service work
There’s two categories your skills will fall within:

1. Generating traffic
2. Increasing conversions

Let’s go through each
Generating traffic

Skills:
> Facebook, Google, YouTube, TikTok ads
> Making viral content for organic traffic
> Cold emails/LinkedIn messages/cold DM’s
Increasing conversions

Skills:
> Live chat on websites
> HotJar analyzing user behavior on site
> Copywriting
> Sales
All of these “skills” can be sold as a service TO another business given they have something to work with.

Examples:
1. IG influencer 200k followers sells a $5,000 coaching program

They would buy traffic and conversion offers. Basically any of them
2. Software company selling $3,000 year software

They would be appointment generation.

Doesn’t matter the mechanism by which you get them the appointments (ads, cold email, etc)
3. E-commerce brand

They would also buy both traffic and conversions offers
The basis with which you need to understand selling something to these people is that they need to ALREADY HAVE A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS.

They need something to work with
The mistake you will make is that you will work with a smaller business who has an offer than does not convert

And now you are under the impression you can’t get results, and you’re not skilled

In reality it was impossible to get them results in the first place
Both YOU

AND the business need, in their offer:

1. A bold, quantifiable promise
2. A guarantee you will deliver said promise
YOU need that

THEY need that

If EITHER of you don’t have that, money does not get generated
This is all you need to remember. Nothing else

1. Quantifiable promise
2. Guarantee it can be achieved

It was always so confusing to me when I bought agency or marketing courses when I was younger

“Okay I know how to do this but how do I get people to pay me”

“Oh you just make ads or send emails”

It doesn’t work like that
Yes, obviously you push traffic to the offer

But a logical human (prospect) is going to ask

1. “What specifically do I get”

2. “How do I know it’s going to work”

3. “What’s your track record, has it worked for other people?”
This was never addressed by other people.

They always frame it in such a fashion “just send more traffic”

Like, no. We have to address this

People don’t actually read testimonials they just take note of how long they have to scroll through them
They also don’t watch your testimonial videos unless they are presented in such a way they believe they will receive tactical advice from them

Everybody writes cold emails wrong.

You either wrote it like an ad, you made it look spammy, or you made it too long.

Here's how you do it correctly.

THREAD
It has to be made abundantly clear to the recipient this was not an automated email.

Hence what we call the {{first line}}

I put it in brackets because you can automated it as a merge field.

A merge field means it directly draws it from a CSV file you upload
So you have a Google Sheet with columns

Company
First Line

An OFFER is what a prospects GETS in exchange for what YOU GET

The prospect is not buying “email marketing” or “cold emails” or “Facebook ads”

They’re buying a specified result you promise
You sell the result

“We get you 3x return on ad spend or you pay nothing”

“We get you 10 appointments per month and you only pay when they show up”

“We get you $10,000 extra per month and you only pay us if we perform”
