BREAKING: The jury in the #GhislaineMaxwellTrial has just sent a note to Judge Nathan requesting the transcripts of FIVE additional witnesses: Elizabeth Loftus, the witness we are calling “Shawn” to protect his privacy, Amanda Young, Cimberly Espinosa and Jason Richards.

Elizabeth Loftus is the defence’s expert witness who testified about the science of “false memories”, and about the potential for human memory to be contaminated by suggestion or “post-event information”.

Shawn is Carolyn’s ex-boyfriend. Shawn corroborated Carolyn’s story, saying that he remembers Carolyn visiting the Palm Beach house frequently when she was underage, and that she “worked” for Epstein. He remembers that she would leave the house with hundreds of dollars in cash.

Shawn also confirmed Carolyn’s memory that sometimes Shawn would receive calls from the Epstein house on his own phone to schedule appointments for Carolyn. He remembers speaking to someone with a “proper English” accent.

Cimberly Espinosa was an executive assistant to Epstein in the 1990s & early 2000s. She testified for the defence, and said she remembered meeting Jane at the Epstein office, but said she was “probably 18”. She also said she attributes her career to what she learned from Maxwell.

Amanda Young is an FBI agent who testified for the prosecution. She was present for an FBI interview with Jane, and she was called to testify about her notes from that interview. The defence also re-called her to question her about apparent inconsistencies in Jane’s story.

Jason Richards is also an FBI agent. He was called to testify about an interview he conducted with Carolyn in 2007.

Also, very importantly: the jury asked in its note whether it will have to deliberate on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and this Sunday the 2nd if it has not reached a verdict by then. It looks like the answer will be yes. All of this suggests we are nowhere near done yet.

#BREAKING: The jury in the #GhislaineMaxwellTrial has just sent a note to Judge Nathan asking for ANOTHER witness’s testimony transcript. This time it’s Larry Visoski, Epstein’s longtime pilot who was the prosecution’s very first witness when the trial began on Nov 29.

Visoski testified that he remembers meeting Jane on Epstein’s private jet, but said she looked older and that she was a “mature woman”. He also said several times that he never saw anything criminal or sexual happening on the plane.

He was called by the prosecution in order to testify about the layouts of Epstein’s various homes, as he knew them all intimately. This gave the jury a sense of Epstein’s truly opulent wealth, and it also served to corroborate victims’ testimony about their memory of the houses.

These notes from the jury are not slowing down. The more questions they ask and the longer they take, the more likely it is that this is all good news for the defence. It indicates there is doubt.
