Some insights I gained from @TaschaLabs ’s recent video.
I like her thought process/framework for crypto, being able to observe crypto in a more macro view that easily makes sense.
A thread:
✅ 1/ On blockchains:
- We can think about blockchains as nation-states with their own economies.
- A nation-state a thriving economy, built on sustainable growth, is hard to fall.
💡 Personal thoughts: We can try to evaluate which blockchains are built on incentives, compared to others that are built organically.
✅ 2/ On evaluating blockchains:
- We can use tools like @DappRadar to find out the number of projects built, RVL, total users, wallets, developers, transaction volume and market cap.
- More importantly, we need to find out the value accrual for each blockchain.
💡 Personal thoughts: where does the blockchain and native token gain value?
And how unique is the blockchain?
✅ 3/ Looking ahead to 2022:
3a - Cross chain solutions - After the growth and long-term viability of new nation states (blockchains), many of them need to communicate with each other via bridges.
3b - Blockchain gaming: Well aligned with the demographics of crypto natives, plus its network effects, incentives, and community, easiest to take off next.
💡 What are the projects that are well positioned to take on these trends?
Highly recommend watching the whole video too!
