People are talking about this because of the politics, but the fact this is almost certainly a scam coin seems much more concerning to me. Coffezilla has already profiled this meme coin and it doesn't look good:

Here's more detail on how different rug pulls work in crypto. I don't know what will happen, but here's the advice on their website: "LGBcoin has no intrinsic value and you should not purchase it with any expectation that you will be able to resell it."
Why NASCAR would want to get involved with something that seems likely to end in disaster is beyond me. 
I don't know if this will blow up as spectacularly as the fake Squid Game coin. That was pretty epic.
A theme keeps appearing with this coin. They say repeatedly it isn't worth anything. So, you know, believe them. This is from the post their social media links to as their backstory. It doesn't really explain anything, but it does have this:
Of course, the link to the post explaining how the distribution of the free coins people got early on works is not accessible to the public.
Anyway, if you want to give these anonymous people your money because you think the meme is funny or whatever go for it. Don't expect you'll actually make money from this thing, though.
