Just in from Liberty UK...the British government is set to scrap our Human Rights Act and violate many of the rights we took for granted under the smokescreen of this Pandemic. The clock is ticking down and in two weeks time it will be make or break for standing up to tyranny!! 
This is a Putin-like Power grab that will give the British government unparalleled power to abuse the limits of its authority, making it virtually untouchable.
Whilst it focuses our minds solely on Covid, it is hard at work behind the scenes ripping up our present day Magna Carta like the tyrants of old. What will you say got your children or grandchildren when they ask you down the line what you did to protect their human rights??
It is very convenient and underhand for governments to deflect public attention onto any perceived crisis they wish and to manipulate it in such a way that allows them erstwhile to meddle with our precious human rights. This is no conspiracy theory. It is happening and is fact.
It's bad enough the Tories introduced the Snoopers Charter as well as the Spy Cops Bill & copper fastened unaccountability for members of the armed forces irrespective of their guilt that invades our right to privacy, enabling shoot to kill on our streets & whilst serving abroad.
They are now emboldened with their success in these areas of human rights violations to go full hog and rip up the last shreds of what is left of our rights as citizens and frame them in such a way that leaves us powerless to seek redress against injustice or denies us any voice
Make 2022 the year we stood up to injustice. Make 2022 the year we said no to government tyranny and make it the year we were brave enough to protect our Human Rights Act for ourselves and for future generations to come. Make this a good one!
