I bought my apartment in 2003. I never imagined I wouldn’t want to keep it or that NYC wouldn’t always be the greatest city in the world.

It’s over. I don’t know if we can ever recover from what we allowed happen.

Those in power aren’t the only ones to blame.
I use to say “thank god we didn’t have social media during 9/11.”

I also think thank god even having email wasn’t a guarantee. Or cell phones. Or all this “connectivity.”
A virus was spread throughout the city. But it wasn’t a corona virus.

The bigotry toward trump voters normalized by what was left of our decimated elite, the room left by our dead let the déclassé class create and hold onto power for its own.
Bukowski warned us. And we are living proof, what’s left of it, that he was right.

And so was I. Thank god we didn’t have social media during 9/11. And thank god I can remember what amazing people we became and were and what we lost.
This time, people won’t let Mnemosyne die with Rome. This is the hill I’m willing to die on. Really scary part? I know it could happen.

Indian Summer | ooanabe

That flash fire in January has come.
The touch of warmth that sooths
Like a trickle of warm liquid just drip
drip
dripping down the spine.

A small taste, a tease, a tickle of
spring to surge…..
(Click to listen.) ooanabe.com/indian-summer/
Like gentle lips brushing across an eyelid.
Quick licks that smell like lavender.
Subtle strokes in that soft spot where the neck comes to rest.
A teasing taste of delight, of dance, of
perfection in contact.
The months to come stand like soldiers before the lusty red coals
that will bring warmth, sex-filled flesh, fantasy formed figures
reeling in the hot
hot
days that lend themselves to delight.
Lend their guiding touch toward freedom.
Lend their dawn, their noon, their setting to fulfilled longing.
To nature covered days, mud covered nights

Welcome. Great and noble Covidians. Its reminded that our faith must not be tempted by the sullying threat of mockery or by the scourge that is humor, blasphemy or questioning of The Doctrine. A’rona!
(A’rona with you)
Believers. We do not gather today to renew our commitment and allegiance as Covidians.

Stop helping Mao.

Seriously. He clearly doesn’t need it.

I’m talking to YOU “experty experts.” You’re combating Mao who wasn’t stupid by treating everyone as equitably stupid. Get it? Now stop it.

READ this. Remember. He was a mass murdering psycho

marxists.org/reference/arch…
but he was also a genius and a writer/poet.

Ya think painters with a grudge are bad? Now imagine someone like him with a talent for language instead of landscapes.
“COMBAT LIBERALISM
September 7, 1937 - MAO

We stand for active ideological struggle because it is the weapon for ensuring unity within the Party and the revolutionary organizations in the interest of our fight. Every Communist and revolutionary should take up this weapon.

“These words are so poignant because they aim right at the pathetic platitudes our culture has come to embody on a increasingly hopeless level. Losing a child cannot be fixed. Being diagnosed with a debilitating illness cannot be fixed. Facing the betrayal of your closest
confidante cannot be fixed.
They can only be carried.
I hate to break it to you, but although devastation can lead to growth, it often doesn’t. The reality is that it often destroys lives. And the real calamity is that this happens precisely because
we’ve replaced grieving with advice. With platitudes. With our absence.”

So…I just found some previously never published documents which recorded the Communist Internationale. The timing of this is…interesting.

The title is…

Somethings I’ve already noted (it’s a large volume of course. Typical.)
