🔥𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗙𝗧𝘀
If u own more than 4-5 nft projects, it would qualify as a portfolio. There are a trade-off, decisions, monitoring that is required to optimize returns.🧵👇

𝟭) 𝗕𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗙𝗧𝘀: 𝗔) Collector always buying some times selling 𝗕) An investor - someone whose ultimate aim is medium to long term profit 𝗖)Flipper - buying for short term profit

I have tried all 3 boxes and for my personal style, I would like to Type B - an investor who is comfortable holding for 6-12 months but with an ultimate aim to make money

𝟮) 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: Don't just ape in due to FOMO, greed etc. If you don't know what you are buying you don't really know what to expect - when to exit with a profit or cut your losses.

𝟯)𝗡𝗙𝗧𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 are 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲: Just coz something was trading at 2.5Eth & you see it go to 1Eth does not mean it is cheap now and a good price to enter. @CryptoHootsNFT I bought into the hype at 2.5Eth coz someone told me it wud go to 10eth

Great project but guess what it came to 1.5 eth then 1 eth and I did not sell. At 0.5 eth I bought 4 more.. and watched it slide down to 0.21eth - is this an issue with the project not really. tough market, tax loss harvesting whatever. The price was down. Was I buying the dip no

2 days of Jan buying price is back to 0.49eth. Will it go to 2eth -> not sure? Depends on market sentiment and perception of what the product team can do.

𝟰)𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲: At any point of time be open to the idea of comparing the eth value of 2 or more NFTs and thinking which one would you rather own.

e.g. in hindsight @TheDogePoundNFT was holding at 3.1 eth while @CyberKongz babies had come down to 4.5eth. Could I have topped up and swapped for sure but i did not do that Kongz are 6.6eth and doge was at 2eth

Had a bag of @feudalznft which went to 2eth floor, could have swapped 2-3 of them for a MAYC (@BoredApeYC ) - did I do that NO. what happened -> MAYC 17eth and fuedalz 0.16eth

as @ZssBecker says - remember we are dealing with the people's perceptions of the project - this is not about the tech or the team etc. You can always by back in later - Like a fellow kongz who sold his Gen kongz at 200 eth and bought back the exact same NFT at 55 eth in 2 months

𝟱) 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: The worst thing you can do is just leave those nfts there and hope for them to recover. They won't.. Better salvage what you can so you can put evne that meager amount somewhere else (it adds up)

𝟲) 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Team pockets 100-200 eth and shuts down the project. Have a strategy for why you want to mint a project and potential what price would you get out at

𝟳) 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲: No matter how good the project, sell along the way to get your capital out. It takes only a few days for things to turn sour and the price to collapse

𝟴) 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀: After a while, it is super hard to stay on top of the announcements, WL, giveaways, token launches. Find a few and double down on them - like my good friend @TheBoggartt with his 140 Baby Kongz++

𝟵) 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 - 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘆: Best opportunities come when there is a crisis in the market and if you are part of that crash with no extra $$ - NGMI brother

𝟭𝟬) 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸: These are tricky waters with a lot of information. Very hard for 1 person to be on top of all this info. Find an alpha community to help you in your decisions and validation - @CyberKongz @CosmicLabsNFT @AnonymiceNFT @mtmartians
