WELL, guess who was driving to the Canadian border to pick Kevin up?

Apparently Kijiji is planning on requesting political asylum.

Well folks (and hello new followers). I said there would be an update on Kevin Johnston's Benny Hillesque, futile, and self-defeating flight from Canada to seek asylum in the United States. 1/

And like the posts from yesterday, the part dealing with Johnston's trek across the border is still genuinely funny.

However, I am also going to post some other parts so that you can get a real idea of the character of both Johnston and LaJune which is much more infuriating. 2/

We will begin at the ending since, as @TonyYvce had said to us, this was likely to be the shortest man hunt in Canadian history. Slight hyperbole, but really not much as Kevin Johnston was taken into custody trying to cross the US border on foot. 1/20

We had first gotten wind that Kevin was on the lam yesterday when @JaneQCitizen posted screen shots from the anti-mask/anti-vaxx Telegram group run by Brad Carrigan. I would urge you to look at her thread. 2/20

Though I didn't doubt that much of what was posted in the Telegram might be true, we were dealing with people known to play fast and loose with the truth so I waited until it was confirmed by @antihateca today. 3/20

Well we have a follow-up on the arrest of Artur and Dawid Pawlowski that I and others tweeted about last night. 1/

It would appear that Artur made a phone call from where he was being detained to discuss his arrest. 2/ Image
In the first part Artur suggests he and his brother attended the even in order to de-escalate things as he claims there were those in attendance who wanted to do more than merely protest. 3/

So... Artur Pawlowski continues to be a going concern as @JaneQCitizen indicates in this thread. It also seems clear that he is now toying with some sovcit rhetoric coupled with his already dominionist theocratic fantasies. 1/

On Friday Artur participated in yet another march through the streets of Calgary fighting the tyranny of minor inconveniences put in place to stop the spread of a disease during a pandemic. 2/
His supporters cheered him on like trained seals, posted incendiary comments suggesting requirements to be vaccinated or tested for Covid before entering a building is basically the Holocaust (sadly, they are being serious) and spreading lies about the vaccine. 3/

Yesterday Kevin Johnston was sentenced to 18 months in jail for contempt directly related to his continued defamation of @mohamadfakih8. 1/22
