Not really, but I sincerely hope he comes through. I feel we’ve been burned by blind faith in institutions too many times before for me to have blind faith now. 1/
A speech was never going to win me over. Until there are indictments against those who orchestrated the insurrection, I will remain skeptical. 2/
I’m still waiting for transparency re: the 2016 election. So yeah, I’m not going to lead a cheer for anyone in government until a lot changes. I just can’t. 3/
It doesn’t mean I will bash Garland either. I’m just very skeptical after what we’ve been through. It took a lot of failure in our institutions to get us here. The notion that institutions will now save the day seems a stretch. But I very much hope they do. 4/
The 2000 election is a startling example of the failure of US Institutions. So is what happened to Don Siegelman. Ditto the 2016 election. Unless & until we see indictments, why on earth shld I have faith? 5/
We need action & transparency, not unearned faith. 6/
Someone was in charge of this. We need transparency & indictments. 7/
But at this point, we still lack answers about the pinging between the Trump Tower server & Alfa Bank. We still don’t know the names of the vendors (other than VR Systems) that were breached in 2016. We still don’t know if the FBI conducted a forensic analysis of that election.9/
Does lack of “faith” mean we give up? Of course not. It means the opposite. It means that we must continue to demand transparency & action & that we must involve ourselves in our democracy & monitor our institutions to make sure they do what they should do. 13/
Where we see failures, we raise awareness. The court of public opinion can effect meaningful change. 14/
Supporting local journalism is in my opinion crucial to this effort. If we’ve learned anything these past several years, it should be that local politics are national politics. 15/

Seems the Minnesota GOP has a bit too much in common with the Florida GOP: spoiler candidates AND possible underage sex trafficking. Anyone know if Roger Stone has ties to the Minnesota GOP? 1/

Dear @FoxNews: Remember when @TuckerCarlson gifted his Nevada pimp friend with a cane made out of a bull p#nis? How about the time he came to a Rand Paul event with the pimp & two prostitutes & explained that he had needed the ride after oversleeping his alarm? 1/ #FamilyValues
😡Roger Stone protege Jacob Engels (who is caught up in the Joel Greenberg scandal) claims credit 4 @RepStephMurphy’s (FL) abrupt decision to not seek a 2d term in Congress. Mentions me & @gal_suburban in the process. So I guess Stone & his protégés know we’re watching them. 😳1/
Jacob Engels may also have ties to Jason Brodeur, the Florida Republican who apparently won his state race in 2020 due to a planted (fake) third party candidate. 3/
