For 15 months, the EU has been lying & spreading disinformation about the #TRIPSwaiver, which the EU is obstructing at the WTO, because they want to block wider vaccine production in order to boost pharma monopoly profits.

If anyone has any evidence that the EU (or UK) is taking actions aimed at ENDING the global pandemic rather than prolonging it for the profit of pharma monopolies, please let me know. I've seen none.

(And if you cite paltry numbers of donated doses, you only embarrass yourself)

But it's really a map showing an escape route.

To understand how to use this escape route, you first have to understand the trap we're in.

The core of it is this: we've been facing a global pandemic, but some rich governments have been trying to treat it like a national or regional problem.
Or, worse, those rich governments have been treating the pandemic as an opportunity for a few companies in their countries to make big profits.

They've been protecting & defending those companies from the start, prioritising their demands over the needs of humanity as a whole.

Paltry charity is nothing to be proud of.

1️⃣ - BILLIONS of people around the world have not even had 1 dose yet. 76m gift doses is a fail.

2️⃣ - They haven't had 1 jab yet largely due to the shortage caused by France/EU blocking wider vaccine production globally for 15 months.
For 15 months, the EU, UK & Switzerland have been blocking wider vaccine production globally by obstructing the #TRIPSwaiver, a proposal at the World Trade Organization to temporarily waive some intellectual property rules on vaccines & other health products.
France's policy is the EU policy. The European Commission negotiates on behalf of the EU at the WTO, so that the EU speaks with one voice there. France could act to try to change the EU's deadly policy via the EU Council, but no evidence it has tried to do so as far as I know.
